I felt my conscious coming around as felt myself shivering on the cold concrete. Coming back to my senses, I noticed that I was locked in a dark room. Getting to my feet, I rushed to the nearest window trying my best to open it. But, it wouldn't budge. Helplessly, I fell to my knees, not being able to contain my emotions.
"This is it... I'm never going to see Piero again..." I sobbed to myself.
"There there Fiore, it's all alright." A familiar voice spoke to me softly, I looked up to see the one person caught up in all this.
"Mr Romano!" I exclaimed, rushing to him to hug him tight, "I'm so glad you're okay!"
"I'm glad you're safe as well, I'm sorry that this all happened because of little old me."
"Mr Romano, I've got to ask. How old are you actually?"
"I know I know I should've told you before," Mr Romano sighed, "But I can't tell you here, not now while you're life is in danger flower."
"But Mr Romano, you have to tell me soon." I begged.
"Once we get out of here, I'll tell you." He smiled, "I promise you that, and if I forget you know that you can just remind me."
"Okay." I smiled in return.
"Now, how do we get out of here?"
I looked around the room for any sign of an exit route. But there was none. Rushing to the door, myself and Mr Romano attempted to force the door open, but again it didn't dare to budge. Taking a loud sigh, I flop back onto the floor and cradle myself in my knees. That's when I felt an urge to be sick, Mr Romano was quickly at my side as the door flung open and a woman with long, black silk hair walked through the door with what looked like a syringe. There was another man at her side, pulling Mr Romano away from me as he begged for his life to be by my side. The lady grabbed my chin and forcefully squeezed it, pulling my body upwards. I squirmed for my life as I felt the breathe being drawn away from my lungs. That's when she looked at me with the most familiar eyes I knew for all my life.
"You're related to me father, aren't you?" I gasped trying to regain my breath, "Let me go and I'll take you to him!"
"Oh Fiore, how I've waited for the day when you'd be able to recognise me." She grinned at me, "But no, I don't want you to take me to your pathetic father. Instead, I have what I came for. And that's you. Ryan, prepare them for the car journey. We're going to find Piero."
"No!" I screamed, "leave him out of this!! He's doing nothing wrong! Leave my love alone!"
But my voice didn't seem to do anything, the man named Ryan, my fathers brother, placed the syringe in my arm. I tried my best to pull away, but I felt the sickness and drowsiness overcome my body as I collapsed onto the floor and blacked out.
When I came around to my senses, I was greeted to the darkness of a car boot. I felt the tight grip of rope tugging at my arms behind my back, and I struggled to talk as cloth was forcefully tugged into my mouth. Wherever we were going, the car had already stopped and I couldn't hear a thing. Kicking the door of the car boot, I attempted to make an escape. However, that's when I heard all the commotion.
"Give me back my daughter!" I heard the voice of my father command, I felt a tear fall down my cheek as I continued to kick to show him where I was.
"Too bad, brother." Ryan chuckled, "She's heavily sedated right now, so she may not recall who you or her love are."
"You! You're not my brother I grew up with!" My father exclaimed, that's when I heard his grunt of pain. My eyes opened wide in shock as suddenly the boot door opened as I was faced with a bright light.
