"Wow, so this is our room." I smiled, pulling my suitcase into mine and Piero's room in the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel.
"This is the key the lady gave us." Piero chuckled, shutting the door behind us as I turned to face him.
"I'm so glad that you guys were able to come." I giggled, lifting my suitcase up onto the bed in order to make it easier for me to unpack my belongings.
Approaching over to Piero, I helped him bring in his suitcase as he fell back onto the bed we were sharing. He covered his eyes with his arm and gave out an exhausted sigh as I sat carefully next to him. I clutched my hand to his arm as the tension that was building on his shoulders were released. That's when he removed his arm to cup my cheek in his palm and look at me. I knew this look, it was his romantic side. He was yearning for something, but I couldn't tell what. Running my fingers through his hair, I showed a smile as he sat up to cup both of my cheeks for a soft, tender kiss. When our lips broke apart, I felt rather strange. It felt like my heart had snapped in two pieces. Something was going to happen, I could feel it.
"Fiore, I have something to say." Piero broke the silence, brushing a strand of my hair out of my face and back around my ear.
"What is it?" I asked, no realizing the disappointment in my voice.
"I've been thinking..." Piero muttered, his hands dropping to run up my thighs.
"Come on, Piero." I replied, holding his hands where they had stopped on my thighs, "You can tell me."
"Maybe we should run away..."
"What? Like a three year old? Piero why would you think such a thing?"
"I mean, I guess we both need a break after Eurovision and your tour. I was thinking that we go somewhere, get out of the life we repeat on a daily basis."
"Piero..." I frowned, forcing him to look at me, "I'm not saying it's a bad idea. And I'm not saying no to it either. I'm just thinking that would it be so wise to do it so soon?"
"I'm going to set a date, we go then. Alright?" He asked me, raising an eyebrow.
"Sure, that's alright." I smiled, rubbing my fingers across his cheek, "Just do it when no one has a birthday. I like being around during times like that."
"Oh I love you so much." Piero chuckled, cutting me off with a deep kiss that we fell back onto the bed.
Giggling to myself as Piero continued to kiss me, I run my hands down to find something in his pocket. That's when he stopped as I pulled out a box from where he had hid it.
"You wasn't supposed to see that.." Piero sighed, helping me sit back up to look more at it.
"What is it?" I asked him, confusing filling the once romantic air in the room.
"It came in the mail before we left." Piero answered, "It was from my mother."
"Your mother?" I repeated, "How is she? I haven't seen her in so long."
"She was doing well, I told her about you and how you were doing so well. She sent that as a gift for you but I wanted to give it to you at the right moment."
"Well open it!" I giggled in delight, "I want to see what it is."
"But I was saving it for a special occasion." Piero frowned, opening the box slowly, "Close your eyes."
As I closed my eyes shut, I heard the snapping of the box lid shutting as Piero softly held my hand. As I opened my eyes secretly, I looked down to see him placing a sapphire blue ring onto my index finger on my right hand. He looked up to see me smiling, and spoke these special words to me.
