School.

That place had never been Hoseok's favorite place to be in. Still, after some unfortunate events, studying had become the only thing he could concentrate on.

It was just a normal tuesday morning, and Hoseok was mumbling to himself, checking that he had everything he needed in the black bag he always carried around at school.

Like almost every other day, he was surely going to be late to school, but it didn't really matter to him. School was more like a place to hang out at, sadly.

Since he acted like he cared about no-one and nothing, it seemed quite odd to the other students to see Hoseok still have top marks on his tests. Some thought he cheated, but no. It was all thanks to the fact that as soon as Hoseok arrived at his own apartment, studying was all he was really going to do.

The people around him at school didn't make him feel safe, so he always studied at home. Also, studying was a great way to kill time at his poor apartment, which really was only capable of being a place for sleeping.

With a sigh, Hoseok took his keys, stuffed them in the pocket of his black sweatpants, and left the almost empty apartment. He slammed the door shut, not really caring if his neighbours would be angry at him.

He didn't want to live there, so might as well make everyone there hope he didn't live there.

Makes zero sense, right?

You could imagine, that with an attitude like this, Hoseok wouldn't have many friends. That is true, but only because Hoseok had no interest in making friends.

He was actually quite popular among the other students, mostly because of his looks though. Many had asked him out, but the response had always been the same, cold "No".

Seriously, his way of talking at school was way past rude. And when I say at school, I mean it. A hard cover like this was only to protect Hoseok himself from the world he was afraid of.

Nobody would like to have a friend like him, and he wanted it to remain that way. Other people only gave him anxiety.

"..Already here, huh?" Hoseok was talking to himself again. He could already see the shilouette of the school building.

T.A.N. High, (shortened from The Academy for Natural learning, which basically stands for the school being a part of some kind of project against the climate change) this school he had been in since he had started high school, wasn't that bad, honestly.

The yard was big and green, and the school building was pretty nicely designed. If only he wouldn't need to deal with other people..

Hoseok shook his head a bit, trying to clear his mind before entering the same old doors. Ten minutes late.

He took off his earphones, and placed them inside his bag, again. The building was pretty quiet, which wasn't surprising, since the classes had started already.

It was a bit foggy morning, he didn't feel like spending any time outdoors. It was too dark to his likings.

And so, he decided to go check up on his math class ー that he was late from. Maybe just a quick look at what today's subject was, and he could go hang out in the halls.

Hoseok had made his way in front of the classroom the math class was held in. Without thinking twice, he pushed the door open just to be met with a lot of shocked stares and pairs of round eyes.

There was also the math teacher, Mr. Lee, who was one of those teachers who never stood a chance against a student like Hoseok.

"Sorry sir, I'm late. But it's not like it matters anyways."

Hoseok glanced at the male teacher who yet again, couldn't even get a single word out of his mouth. Sometimes Hoseok felt bad for him, he was a sweet teacher and all, but no can do. Even teachers weren't worth his trust.

Only now Hoseok noticed that there was six, unfamiliar students looking directly at him.

"And what are you looking at, huh?"

"Can't I even lay my eyes on you?" a short blonde said, looking directly into Hoseok's eyes.

"Shut up, bitch."

"Who are you to call him a bitch, shortie?" another, taller male joined Hoseok's and this blonde boy's conversation.

His hair was purple ー a strange color in Hoseok's opinion. But that wasn't the main topic here, who even were these boys? New students, perhaps?

"I say whatever I want to, grapehead" Hoseok huffed.

"Boys, boys, no fighting in the classroom!" Mr. Lee spoke up, his voice being a bit shaky, just like every other time when he tried to command someone.

"We'll get out of here then, I didn't even want to come here in the first place" a huge grin appeared on one of the newbies's face, as he waved goodbyes to the dumbfounded teacher, who just watched in defeat as his students left the classroom.

Hoseok wasn't done with the strangers, so he had decided to tag along and settle this little fight outside of the classroom.

As soon as he and the other six males were standing on the hallway, he tilted his head to the side, piercing his eyes to the purple haired male who had interrupted his conversation with the short blonde.

Crossing his arms, he sighed in annoyance, before asking; "So, what do you want, fuckers?"
