The last class of the day.
Hoseok was starving, he hadn't eaten anything since yesterday's meal with the six boys. Speaking of that bunch of troublemakers, Hoseok had not seen them today, not even once.
Well, he had spent most of the day in the library, so it was not a miracle he had not ran into them.
For the whole hell of a day, Hoseok had been waiting for this small stack of test papers, and now that the teacher, Mrs. Jeong, had announced that she would return the tests, Hoseok's heart was beating fast. He was desperate enough to quietly pray to get good scores.
"Surprisingly good job, Jung."
Hoseok lifted his gaze to see the long haired female teacher, who just slightly smiled at him while giving him back his test papers.
Mrs. Jeong continued on returning the papers, while Hoseok snapped out of his thoughts to take a look at his tests. All the headache felt to disappear for a while, as the ravenette went through the papers with his eyes wide open.
"Ninety-seven, ninety-one, ninety-four, ninety-nine.." he whispered the numbers in disbelief. He did pass these tests too, and all of the scores were above ninety points.
If there had not been anyone around him, he would have cried in happiness. Most of this school years' tests were already done, meaning that he had a really good chance of nailing the rest of them too, and getting the opportunity to try to attend to the Wings Academy.
Hoseok was so happy about his scores, that he almost didn't notice how Mrs. Jeong had walked back to the front of the class, ready to let the students enjoy the rest of the day. "Okay class, I'll see you tomorrow morning!"
A bunch of 'bye's could be heard once the students started to leave the classroom in hurry. Couple of the students stopped by Hoseok's desk to ask him to come with them to a cafe or something, but just like usually, Hoseok turned down their offers.
No matter the fact that his head had started to hurt again, Hoseok was still quite happy at the moment. Maybe, yes, maybe he could get to Wings Academy, and thenㅡ
"Hoseok!!"
This bright, yet such a deep voice captured Hoseok's attention, making him turn around in the crowded hall, just to see a grin he couldn't help but to instantly recognize. "...Taehyung?"
Behind the smiling male, there was five other familiar figures. Hoseok wasn't really that annoyed to see these guys, but he still would rather not deal with them today. He just wanted to get back to resting, not talk with these fools.
"Gosh, why did you just disappear like that yesterday?" Jin worried.
"
Uhh, sorry? You all were nowhere to be seen once I got back, and I had something important to do."
Well, it really wasn't a lie, since Hoseok really did have something important to do; get home. Even then, Jin was eyeing Hoseok in a weird way. He didn't seem to fully trust Hoseok.
"Too bad then" Jin frowned. "But did you have an umbrella with you? It was almost stormy once we got home."
"Yeah, like I said, I had an umbrella in my bag" Hoseok said, but even he himself wasn't sure if he could have trusted his words.
"But sorry for leaving like that yesterday" Jungkook apologized. His eyes were looking like a sad puppy's, and Hoseok almost felt bad for the boy in his white shirt and jeans.
"Don't apologize" Hoseok said back.
"It was Taehyung's fault anyways, he wanted to go buy you something to drink from one of those little snack machines, you know the ones in the second floor" Jimin explained.
He was clearly eyeing Taehyung with a blaming look.
"Hey, it's not all my fault! You guys wanted to tag alone!" Taehyung snapped back at Jimin, who only continued on the bickering; "Hell yeah, I was thirsty!"
As the verbal war between Jimin and Taehyung was getting too noisy, Yoongi got between the two of them and boldly told them to shut up. "Okay, shut up! Are you guys like, five or something?"
"Hey," Hoseok tried to catch the boys' attention. Like magic, all of their heads turned to look at him. "You see, I really gotta go now."
"...Can't we at least walk you home?"
