Again, the ghost boy.
Out of nowhere, Yoongi had appeared once again to make Hoseok lose his shit. This time, it was only a small flinch, not with a loud and embarassing yelp after it.
"You okay?" Yoongi asked with a bit of worry in his voice. "It has been twelve minutes since you left.."
Hoseok winked his eyes again, simply in disbelieve. Since... When was the last time that someone had worried about him?
"Uhh..."
With the most unsure voice ever, he let out a one word answer; "Yes..?"
The worried expression on Yoongi's face made Hoseok feel uneasy. He could be a really bad liar once he was nervous enough. Knowing well Yoongi was waiting for more details to support his unsure answer, Hoseok decided to not make up a story like 'I had an eyelash in my eye'.
No-one would believe him at the moment, not even he himself.
"Just, nevermind it. Sorry for taking so long... I guess."
Mentally, Hoseok wanted to slap himself so bad. And he probably would have hit himself on the face if he had been alone. The pale boy in front of him didn't say anything back at him, but neither did he seem satisfied with the answer.
"Let's just go.." Hoseok mumbled before walking past Yoongi, whose stare he could feel on his back.
I guess?? I fucking guess??
He felt so dumb for giving an answer like that. Poking his forehead with his index finger, he quietly whispered to himself, "Think twice before you speak up, idiot."
His quiet words were gladly not heard by Yoongi, who had followed Hoseok back to their table. Jin had already returned, and the table was full of simply everything.
It's like everything Hoseok had been so badly craving for at least the past four months was there, right in front of his eyes.
Sandwiches and french fries, some chicken and noodles. Surprisingly, also a small bowl of some kind of salad that had this oddly delicious green color. There was enough soda for everyone, and some spices in a small basket in the middle of the full table.
"You're back!"
Namjoon kindly smiled at Hoseok, whose presence he just now noticed. "Come sit down, the food just arrived."
No words were going to be heard coming out of Hoseok's mouth, so he simply answered with a nod. Then again, he looked at the table. There was three seats left, since Yoongi still had not sat down, either.
He either had to sit next to the pink haired boy known as Jin, or Namjoon, who had now continued on clumsily adding ketchup to his fries. Luckily, none of the red sauce ended up on his shirt.
For couple akward seconds Hoseok's gaze was racing between the free seats, not really knowing where he should sit. But that problem was soon to be solved, when Hoseok's slightly cold hand got held by another hand.
Yoongi had wrapped his fingers around Hoseok's tiny wrist, and with a small smile, he dragged Hoseok behind him.
"Come sit with me."
No matter how cold this pale boy might have looked at first, had Hoseok already noticed how heartmelting his cute smile was. That smile didn't really match the strong grip he used to hold Hoseok's hand.
Hoseok's heart-shaped lips remained closed even after he had somehow ended up sitting right between Jin and Yoongi. While his mouth stayed shut, his eyes were still wandering around the tasty looking dishes.
"You can basically take anything you want, I didn't know what you'd like to eat, so I just bought a bunch of food. Don't worry, even if you won't finish it all, I bet that these guys are hungry enough to have some extras."
A wide smile was placed on the plump lips Jin had, while he spoke to Hoseok with his sweet voice. He finished off the last sentence with a loud giggle, and then took a bite of a crispy piece of chicken he was holding with his chopsticks.
"You shouldn't have bought this all just because of me."
Hoseok didn't want to sound too mean, but in his opinion it really was kind of stupid to buy four or five dishes more just because he was there to eat with them. "It's just a waste of money."
Jin was chewing that same piece of chicken he had just bit off, so it took a moment for him to answer. "Like I said, any food won't be wasted. And money isn't a problem."
"Also," Jin suddenly lifted up Hoseok's hand, treating it very carefully, as if it was made out of glass. "You're so thin, I'm afraid that you'll snap in half if you don't gain some fat."
"Yeah yeah shut up" Hoseok mumbled. He wasn't too light for a guy his height, at least he used to not be. Well, it had been three years since he had his health actually checked, after that he had been skipping school every time there was this 'health examination' thing at school.
"Anyways, thanks for the food."
"You haven't even eaten any yet!" Taehyung frowned from the other side of the table. The messy haired male had been eavesdropping the conversation between Hoseok and Jin, and he didn't seem to even be the only one.
Jungkook and Jimin were also fully focused on their conversation, and Namjoon and Yoongi were quiet for a reason unknown.
"Here, try this."
