Kiko's POV
I stood outside the window as I watched Sam and Devon posing for pictures with a couple fans. I couldn't stop the pang of jealousy that hit me as I stared at the both of them acting so comfortable with one another like no time had passed.
Of course they're comfortable with each another... they literally worked together for months.
I remember working with both of them on Angelito and how strong their friendship was. I always wanted to join them during breaks on set, but when they were together it was like they were in their own little world. As I continued to stare at them, I saw that invisible bubble they had reappear. I noticed the look on Devon's face as she looked at Sam. It was the way I wished she looked at me. There was a light in her eyes that I hadn't seen in a while as she looked at him. The jealousy that ignited within me continued to foster and I knew that if I walked inside to join them I would explode. So I made the decision to just shoot her a text that I couldn't make it.
Making my way back to my car, I felt my heart breaking for the girl I knew I could probably never have. I didn't deserve her. She was too pure and innocent. If I pursued her, I would without a doubt corrupt her.

Hi please don't hate me for how short this is ahahah. I just felt like I had to write something and update because I've been MIA for so long again (you can thank university and work for that). Anyway's I wanted to ask you guys if you wanted longer chapters but it would take me longer to update or shorter chapters and update quicker.
Alsooooo I kind of want to write in Sam's POV for some chapters even though this is a DevKi fanfic but my heart is still aching for SamVon to some degree (I just never got closure ok hahaha). But I won't if you guys just want me to just keep it strictly Kiko and Devon so let me know with a comment if this is something you'd be interested in.
