You know, I usually don't mess up with humans. They are unpredictable. You never know how they'll die, or what are they going to do. I hate that thing. I wished to tell the book thief what was waiting for her, but I had to follow my policy. Avoid the living. Well, how do I know what was waiting for the book thief and the boy with the blue eyes. Quite simple.

"We have to decide which of these are going" A man with glasses and hat stated.
"They all have potential!" Another man replied.
"We have to pick, at least, five" This man seamed to be the leader of the three. The glasses man pointed at a paper.
"He has potential" The leader nodded, and the hat man ( the second one ) nodded to.
"He is already in"
"Anyone else?" The leader asked. They picked seven more.
"What about this one?" The hat man asked.
"Oh, I already know him, he is absolutely good" the glasses man replied.
"Dünn, we have the ones we need" The last one they picked, got my attention.

"I'm absolutely not doing that" Lucas said with an apple in the mouth. Liesel laughed.
"Why not?" Lucas took a big bite of the apple.
"Well, I just don't want to, I mean, it is just... weird" Liesel rolled her eyes.
"And how's that weird?" Lucas shrugged.
"Well, I don't know"
"See! That's why you have to try" Liesel said, almost throwing the book she had in her hand to the river. Lucas sighed.
"Okay okay, I'll do it" Liesel grinned. Lucas sticked his tongue out, and touched his nose. Liesel laughed, and Lucas laughed to.
"Liesel! Lucas! Come back! We are having dinner right know!" Ilsa called after them.
"You are getting sixteen soon" Liesel said, walking side to side with Lucas "What do you want for your birthday"
"Please don't bother" Liesel putted her hands on her waist to act like she was pissed.
"So you can give me things, and I can't?" Lucas nodded, pressing his lips together.
"Ja, it works that way"
"I'll give you something anyways" Lucas shook his head, and couldn't help but smile. Liesel smiled to. When they arrived to the house, Sarah was waiting for them, her back against the door frame, and her sight was on Lucas. She looked sad, and tired, and she was holding a paper in her hands.
"Lucas" she said in a sweet voice and hugged him.
"Mom?" He asked with a confused look drawn in his face. Liesel stared.
"My boy" Sarah said again and kissed Lucas's head multiple times.
"Mama? What's wrong?" Sarah sighed.
"We need to talk to you" Liesel understood, and walked inside the house.
"I'll leave you so you can talk" Sarah gave Liesel a warm smile.
"Dankeschön, Liesel" Liesel came in and waited for Lucas, sat in the stairs. She stared at the close door in front of her, waiting to open. After a couple of minutes, it opened. The whole Friedrich family had a cold aptitude. Liesel was confused. Lucas walked to her, and grab her hand. He also had that cold look in his blue eyes.
"There is something I need to tell you" he said calmly, and sweet. Liesel's heart started to beat faster. I stayed to see, and I could hear both young hearts beating fast, at the same time.
"What's wrong?" Liesel finally asked, breaking the silence between them. Lucas looked up to Liesel's eyes and stared at them for a while. He hold her hand in his.
"I'm going to the army"
