Chapter 33:Head Up In The Clouds. A Kiss-Can You Be Mine?

The past few days went by within a blink of an eye and I'm honestly scared by how quickly the time passes without anyone realising it.

The remaining days were relaxing as Max is treated like a real member of our family.

It goes like:

"Max, will you stay and eat with us?" Linzey comes down to the room I am staying in.

"I don't know...I may just as well eat in the hotel" He struggles "You'll have more cooking to do Lizney"

"Stop saying this" She laughs "Stay"

"I-I-" He is cut off.

"Stay Max" I nod as I smile.

He laughs "alright" He nods.

"Great!" Linzey happily claps her hands "Come up in 10 minutes, food will be ready"

I wink at Linzey.

I got even closer with my cousin and I have created a bond that will last for ages.

Irene stopped to tease us so much (me and Max), she only does it from time to time, however we can deal with it.

Also, remember when we played Truth or Dare last time? Yeah, from that time on the permanent marker doesn't want to come off Edward's face...So he still has all the drawings, along with the penis on his forehead. However it is not as bad, it's slowly coming off and it's nearly visible.

I am seriously feeling sorry for him, especially since it was my Dare.

Add to this, the days went by and they gave me a lot to think about.

Max has been acting differently towards me-of course in the good way-you thought that he was protective before? Now is way worse. He started to care more and if I don't answer my phone for a long time if he texts or calls me, he gets extremely worried.

2 days ago-I forgot my phone as Linzey asked me to help her with shopping groceries. When we came back from the shopping, Max was waiting for me in front of the Smith's house and he was worried sick, he even scolded me for forgetting my phone.

It went like this:

"Alex! Can you help me?"

I come up the stairs running "What's up Linzey? With what?"

"Come shopping with me, I have so much stuff to buy" She whines.

"Sure thing" I laugh.

Linzey takes her keys and we head out while taking the car.

"What do you exactly need?"

"The list is under here, rake it out and see"

I do so and unfold the paper, it goes all the way down "When was the last time you went proper shopping?"

"Honestly...Can't remember" Linzey laughs "That's why you are going with me" She elbows me.

I shake my head "Alright"

We arrive at the shop and jump up from the car.

"Lets half the list" Suggests Linzey.

I nod.

"You can start with the top half and I'll take care of the rest" She roost the list in half.

"Got you" I wink.

We get 2 trolleys and walk around the shop to buy everything that is needed.

"What time is it?" I mumble under my nose as I search for my phone "Crap!" I realise that I left my phone at home.
