Progress started to appear, though not that smoothly with a few fallbacks here and there, but after months, I was capable of doing most things all by myself. Though not all parts of my memory stayed with me from that night. It was a bit difficult to recall what happened when I was asked by the doctors. Fuzzy memories tempering the ability to remember everything clearly.

Raphael stayed by my side each and every day, doing night shifts solely so he could be at the hospital throughout the day. Helping me with walking to places, pushing my wheelchair forth, and even learning sign language to compensate my ability to speak.

The journalist shifts in her seat a little, adjusting her jacket. "Anything else you remember miss?"I shake my head, gaze moving to Raphael"she said that the rest remains like a black hole in her memory~"he says, translating my signing to spoken word for the journalist to understand. She nods, getting up"thank you for sharing your story with us miss Duffy?"I shake my head again, smiling and waving slightly as she and Raphael bid their goodbyes. And with that it was only me and Raphael again.

Just like it always will be.
