Suddenly, her life flashed before her and she was being taken, a bag over her head and she was being carried. As soon as she had time to react she was kicking and screaming but it was doing no good. She was thrown in the back of a van as she began to cry. She knew that she wasn't going to let this be the end, she had to get out.

After a couple of minutes Alice decided to see what was taking Claire so long but all she saw when she reached the end of the hall was the front door wide open, swinging around in the cold breeze. Her scream echoed down the street as everyone came running out to see what happened.

"Where's Claire?" Hermione asked.

"I don't know!" Alice cried.

"Oh my God! Who would do this?" Betty asked pushing through to comfort her mother.

"Did she have her phone in her pocket?" Fred asked.

"No" Cheryl said, picking it up from the side table.

"Phone Sheriff Keller!" Veronica shouted. Cheryl phoned the Sheriff quickly.

"I have some guys out looking now" he spoke down the phone "I'll be round to ask questions. Don't worry Cheryl, she'll be okay" somehow Tom Keller's soothing voice made her feel better.

"Thank you Sheriff" Cheryl hung up the phone.

"I was supposed to protect her Fp, I was supposed to protect her!" Alice cried into Fp's chest.

Claire's eyes suddenly flickered open. She didn't know what happened, she must've blacked out. Presumably from being hit on the head because she could feel blood on her face.

"Oh so you're awake" a voice began in the corner of the room. At first she couldn't quite make out who it was but then she realised it was Hal as he stepped out of the shadows.

"Where am I?" she asked. Obviously, he wasn't going to tell her but it was worth a try.

"Don't you worry your pretty little head about that, Princess." he walked out of the dingy room, locking the door behind him. Claire sat up sending a shooting pain through her head.

"Go to hell!" she shouted after him. Claire fought through the pain, looking around for a way out. That's when she saw it. A window, not too high up, the right size for her to squeeze through. She struggled to push herself up but when she did she noticed a pile of large rocks and fire wood in the corner. Perfect to use for smashing the window Claire thought. What kind of idiot would hold someone in a room with a window? He obviously did not plan this through.
