"There it is." I point to the walls of the town.
"INTRUDERS!" Someone shouts, "PLEASE STATE YOUR NAMES AND BUSINESS HERE."
"Lizzie, Scott, Callum, Lauren and Shelby." Lauren says
"Our friend is hurt and we need a place to stay for the night." I say. People surround us, pointing their swords at us.
"I call upon the constellations. Help me fight." Lauren says. I bow and an arrow appear in my hand.
"Wait!" A voice calls, "Let them through, they will stay with me."

We walk into the house, almost everything is purple.
"I'm Violet." She says. She puts her hood down, "Put your friend over there." The starry deer puts Shelby on the purple couch.
"That's a beautiful deer." She says. She walks over to it and strokes it. The deer nuzzles her cheek.
"Pleasure to meet you." She laughs, "Reed is a beautiful name, is it short for anything?"
"Um... What's happening?" Callum asks, "Not trying to be rude or anything..."
"It's completely fine, I just love animals." She says, "You guys don't have anything animal allergies, do you?"
"No." I say
"Good because I have just about every animal from bunnies to lions and everything else." She says. She looks at Shelby.
"I suppose I should help her." She says, "Donnie!" An animal walks past us and hands her something.
"She's lost some blood but she'll be fine. I'll have to call in Ari." She says, "Anyways, I guess I should explain some things, anything to drink?"

"So what kind of things do you want to know?" She asks
"Well, how can you talk to animals?" I ask
"I've been able to for as long as I can remember." She says, "That's all I can say."
"Why are you letting us stay with you?" Lauren asks
"I have a few contacts who told me you guys were coming." She says
"Who?" Scott asks
"That's confidential." She says, "The town you're looking for is in the mountains. You'll each need to learn your opening casters."
"What's that?" Callum asks
"Lauren's sword and deer appeared because she used her casters." She says, "I guess that means you're a Stella Caster."
"A Stella Caster?" She asks
"You draw your casting energy from the stellar elements." She says, "Since Shelby has wings she's a Sky Caster."
"So what's an opening caster?" Callum asks
"It will get you into the village." She says, "It's late, get some sleep." She gets up and walks into the other room.
"Castings?" Lauren asks, "What does that d-"
"Who are you talking to?" Scott asks
"Oh, no one." She says
"Tsunami Caster." A voice says, "Shhh, don't say anything, just listen. Go to Shelby and say the following: Daemonium dimisit spiritus. Curandum cito recuperavit."
"What?"
"Daemonium dimisit spiritus."
"Daemonium dimisit spiritus." I say
"Curandum cito recuperavit."
"Curandum cito recuperavit." I repeat.
"Demon spirit released. Heal and recover quickly." The voice says
"Demon spirit released. Heal and recover quickly." I say
"What's happening?" Scott whispers
"I have no idea." Callum says quietly

-Scott-

"Scott! You need to get away from Violet as soon as possible!" An urgent voice says. Shelby sits up and groans.
"Don't listen to them, Violet isn't dangerous." Another voice says
"She's a killer!" The first one argues
"No she's not!" The second says
"Scott." Lauren says, "You here?" She waves her hand in front of my face.
"What? Oh, yeah." I say
"If you feel I'm unsafe, you can go." Violet says
"We never said that." Lizzie says
"Not you." She says, "Alex never trusted me."
"But if you decide to stay, you should get some sleep." She walks out

"Stay on guard, she could strike at any minute." The voice says.
"Violet isn't dangerous!" The other one says.
"Let's settle this. Scott, go outside." Voice one says

I walk outside.
"Hold out you dominant hand." Voice two says. I hold out my right hand.
"Focus on your pinky and index finger." One says. The two fingers start glowing.
"These are your casting fingers, you think about what you want and draw its symbol." A glowing orb appears over each finger, one red and one white.
"It's both." Two says, "You're both."
"Both what?" I ask
"Haven and hell, calm and chaos, restoration and destruction." One says
"I guess that's why we're both here." Two says

"Scott, wake up."
"Ok, ok, I'm awake." I say, I throw the pillow behind me in her face.
"The next town is a few miles north, you should get there around three." She says. I take the plate off of the animal's head.
"Oh yeah, pancakes." Violet says
"Thanks." I say yawning.
"Up late?" Violet asks, "The As will keep you up."
"Who?" I ask
"Eh, no one." She says, "But you were up, I hear the summons."
"Yeah, I couldn't sleep." I say. A loud crash comes from outside. Violet groans.
"Not again." She says.
"Again?" Lizzie asks, we all follow her outside.
"Cat spirit." She says, a cat appears next to her, "Donnie, assist me your power so I can protect the animals I call my friends."
"Tsunamis et gladio, et venite ad me: Non possum pugnare." Lizzie says. A blue sword appears in her hand. I hold out my hand.
"To summon you sword, make a cross in the air." Voice two says. Red and white lines appear in the air as I move my hand. A sword appears in the air in front of me.
"Stand down." Violet says, "I don't want you guys to get hurt."
"Nope." Shelby says, "Sword!" The glowing sword appears.
"Why do you get to just say the word and I have to say this... thing in what I think is Latin?" Lizzie asks.
"I dunno." She says
"I call upon the constellations. Help me fight." Lauren says
"It's so weird to hear you say something serious." I joke
"Oh shut up." She says
"Callum, you gonna join the sword club?" I ask jokingly.
"Ok look, I wasn't visited in the night with the magic fairy." He jokes
"Less chatting, more fighting for our lives please." Violet says
