Violet falls hard against the ground, she shifts from the form of a wild dog back to a human.
"They need your help." A voice says, "Take this." An glowing, orange ball appears in front of me. It changes shape and wraps around my pointer finger.
"That's your caster." The voice says, "You're fire, to cast something, say 'Fire make-' then say what you want to appear. Try it."
"Um... fire make sword." I say. A flaming sword appears.
"Try fire make wings." The voice says
"Fire make wings." I say. Flaming wings appear on my back. Lauren falls next to Violet.
"Callum, now that you have wings, a little help?" Scott says
"Oh right." I say.

"Daemonium dimisit spiritus. Curandum cito recuperavit. Demon spirit released. Heal and recover quickly." Lizzie says
"Are you guys ok?" Shelby asks.
"Yeah." Violet says brushing herself off, "You guys should get going, you need to get to the next town by sundown."
"I call upon the sun, the moon and the stars. Let their spirit take form of an animal and assist me." Lauren says. She climbs on her deer's back.
"I packed some special deer food for the lovely Reed." Violet says, "I'm gonna miss you."

"Are we almost there?" Lauren asks
"Yup." Shelby says, "We're right here."
"This is different from the last one." I say, "We weren't immediately attacked."
"Hey guys!" Someone runs over to us, "I'm Alex and Ari is somewhere. We've been expecting you!"
"Hey guys." Someone else says, "I'm Ari. Sorry 'bout Alex, he's energetic."
"She." Alex says
"She's energetic." Ari says. We follow them into the town.
"This is mi casa." Alex says
"Our casa." Ari says
"Sí, nuestra casa." She says. We follow them inside.
"Alex, you're back!" Someone says running out of another room.
"I was gone for, like, six minutes." She laughs, "Guys, this is Rue. Brothers!" Four more boys run out of other rooms.
"That's James, Sammy, Tyler and Max." She says, "Where's Jamie? Jamie!" Someone else walks in, he looks like he's older than all of us.
"Yeah?" He asks
"Jamie, this is Scott, Shelby, Lauren, Lizzie and Callum." Ari says
"Make yourselves comfortable." Ari says, "We have food and drinks in the fridge and you won't be bored with the boys."
"Except Jamie." Alex says, "He's boring."
"You-" He picks her up and spins her around, both of them start laughing.
"Put me down!" Alex laughs
"Guys, no roughhousing over the hard floor." Ari says
"Oh come on... mom." Alex jokes. Jamie drops her, they both start laughing harder.
"Ok, that's enough." Ari says, "Alex, did you use my eyeliner again?"
"Yeah." She says, "I'll take it off if you don't like it."
"No, I love it." She says, "But that eyeliner was damn expensive and if you keep using it you're paying for it."
"Yeah right." She says, "We both know I'm super broke."

"Any movie suggestions?" Ari asks
"Oh come on, someone suggest something before we have to watch My Little Pony." Alex says
"What's wrong with My Little Pony?" Sammy asks
"Once you reach a certain age, shows like that don't interest you." Alex says
"Yeah I know, mom." He jokes
"Hey! I'm not your mom, I'm your cool aunt. Ari's your mom." Alex says
"I'm not your sister!" Ari says
"You basically are." Alex says
"Sisters who kiss." Tyler jokes. All the brothers start laughing.
"Jamie, I wouldn't laugh if I were you." Alex says, "At least I have a girlfriend." He shoves her playfully.
"Hey, where's Little Maximus?" Jamie asks.
"I don't like being called that." He says
"Sorry Max." He says, "Just slipped."
"So Sprit Springs, that's a cool place." Alex says, "A lot of things happen there."
"Wait, I know why your voice sounds familiar." Scott says, "You and Ari are-" Alex shakes her head.
"I don't know what you're talking about." She says
"Anyways." Ari says, "It's time for bed little dudes."
"Awwwww, just a couple more minutes?" Max begs
"No, you have a big day tomorrow." Alex says. Jamie gets up and follows them into the other room.
"Woah, I just noticed your eyes." Alex says, staring at me.
"Yeah, what about them?" I ask
"You're almost at full and it's only been a couple days." She says
"Alex..." Ari warns
"I know, but look." She says. Ari looks at me.
"Woah, you're right." She says
"What's happening?" Callum
"It's just something that happens when you cast a lot." Ari says. I remember what Eli said about his pupils not existing and that I've already been exposed to it.
"Can I use your bathroom?" I ask
"Yeah, it's just down the hall." Ari says. I get up and walk down the hall. I close the door and look in the mirror. My pupil looks almost faded. It's kinda creepy.
"No!" The small voice says desperately
"What the-"
"No! Please don't please don..." The voice gets quieter until it just stops. I open the door and walk back down the hall.
"You ok?" Ari asks as I sit down, "You look pale."
"Yeah, I'm fine." I say
"Please... let me out..." The voice says quietly
"Shelby, your cheek is bleeding." Alex says. I touch my cheek and look at my hand.
"Shelby, close your eyes for a second." Ari says. I close my eyes, I feel a hand being place on each of my shoulders.
"Skye, can you here me?" Ari's voice says in my head
"Skye, can you here me?" Alex says at the same time.
"Ari? Alex?" The voice says
"Skye, we're coming to get you."
"Skye, we're coming to get you."
"No, you can't."
"We're coming to get you."

"No, it's not safe."
"We can't just leave you there, you can change our minds."

"Wait-" They take their hands of my shoulders. Ari waves her hand my cheek.
"So what just happened?" Callum asks
"We have to go get Skye." Ari says
