"You're not tired either?" Scott sits down next to me.
"No." I say
"What're you watching?" He asks
"I don't know, I'm not really paying attention to this." I turn off the tv.
"You guys can't sleep either?" Callum sits on the other side of me.
"Yup." I say
"Worried?" He motions to my phone in my hand.
"A little." I say. I look at both of them.
"You two can read minds now?"
"Yup." Scott says
"I don't like mind reading." I say
"Why?"
"You find out things you don't want to know. You learn secrets people don't want to uncover. It's just a big mess." I say
"But you still do it, don't you?" Callum says
"When necessary." I say, "Same with powers. I can bend light at my will but it's good not to rely on it."
"Have you ever read our minds?" Scott asks
"Yeah." I say, "Multiple times actually. Sorry 'bout that." They both look at me.
"You're reading my mind to figure out what I found out, aren't you?"
"Yeah." They say in unison.
"That's fair." I say. I look at Scott, "Sorry."
"It's fine." He says, "It's not the first time I was outed to someone because of mind reading."
"It's not?"
"Nope, Ari found out also." He says. My phone rings.
"It's Rain." I say, "Hey."
"Hey." She says
"Is this about Ari?" I ask
"Yeah." She says, "Um, she-"
"She's not gonna..." Ash says
"Have you told Alex yet?" I ask
"No, not yeah." She says, "We were thinking about waiting until tomorrow."
"Don't." I say, "I think that might be worse."
"Ok." She says
"Do you guys need anything?" I ask
"No, we'll be fine." She says, "Kinda, anyways."
"Ok, I'm sorry to hear that." I say, "Goodnight."
"G'night." She hangs up.
"Ari's not..." We sit quietly for a couple minutes.
"I'm gonna go bed." We all get up and head back to our rooms.

There's a knock on the door.
"Coming!" I open the door, "Hey Ash, new hair?" They run their fingers through their rainbow hair.
"Yeah, it's kinda a big thing the town does for the first day of pride month." She says, "We dye our hair the color of our sexuality."
"That's cute." I say.
"Hey Yammy!" Skye appears.
"Jeez, you have to stop teleporting everywhere." Ash jumps.
"Sorry." She says sheepishly.
"I like your hair." I say. She's added a streak of blue and pink to the pastel yellow.
"Thanks." She smiles
"Do you guys wanna come in?"
"Sure." Ash says, "We have to wait for Rain to "choose the right colors" for her bi hair." They step inside.
"Hey Skye." Shelby says
"Hey!" She says
"Nice hair." Scott says, "Pride month?"
"Pride month." Ash says, "We also have face paint."
"Oooh, fun." Lizzie says
"You know you guys left the door open, right?" Rain says walking in.
"Oh hey, you finally choose "the right blue," congrats." Ash jokes
"Shut it Rainbow Head." She jokes
"Thank you." Ash smirks.
"So when are we going?" Skye asks
"Going where?" I ask
"Well, pride month is kinda a big deal here because most of the people aren't straight and/or cis." Rain says, "There's, like, a festival and then we all go to the beach."
"You guys wanna come?" Ash asks, "There's really good food."
"Heck yeah, that sounds awesome." Shelby says

-Lauren-

We all look around.
"Skye!" Andy runs towards us.
"Andy!" Skye says, "Your mom let you come!"
"Yeah!" They say, "I need to dye my hair though."
"Well let's go then!"
"Wait, you guys need money!" Rain calls. They come back.
"Thanks." They head back down the street.
"They're energetic." Ash laughs.
"Hey." Ryan appears.
"Ryan! You're getting your voice back!" Ash says
"Yeah." He says, "And it's getting deeper."
"That's freaking awesome!" Ash says, "Ok, let's go buy stupid shit."
"You guys have a budget!" Rain calls after them, "I'm gonna go make sure they don't buy anything too stupid." She heads off after them.
"Split?" Lizzie suggests
"Yeah, meet up on the beach in a couple hours." Yammy says. We all nod and head off into the crowd.

"Hey." I say walking down to the beach.
"Hey, nice deer antlers." Callum says, "And cat ears."
"Nice rainbow hair." Yammy says to Scott
"Thanks." He says
"Hey guys." Lizzie and Joel walk over.
"Hey, I guess you guys found the animal ear stand too." I say.
"Oh yeah." She says, "I found these really cute pink ones."
"Hey guys." Skye and Andy appear.
"Hey." Shelby says
"Jeezus, when did you get here?" Scott jumps.
"We've been here for a couple minutes." Oli says
"Alex said he'd were gonna be here." Skye looks at her phone.
"He just lost Ari, that's hard." Rain says
"When did you get here?" Scott asks, "What is with everyone and appearing out of nowhere?" We all laugh.
"We're gonna head down to swim." Rain says.
"Race you!" Ash runs past her.
"And we're the energetic ones." Andy jokes. We start walking down to the water. Skye ties her hair up into a bun and takes it down again. The colors become more vibrant as it falls.
"I love doing that." She says
"So Scott." Andy says, "You don't have to answer but is your hair rainbow for a reason?"
"Yeah." Scott says, "It's pride month and I'm fine with myself so why not?" Skye squeals, then clears her throat.
"Sorry." She says, "I'm proud of you." He smiles.
"Hey guys!" Ivy appears making Scott and Callum jump.
"Jeez, why does everyone do that?" Scott says
"Sorry." Ivy apologizes.
"Race you guys down!" Andy runs down to the beach, Skye and Ivy follow. We run after them. I jump into the water and splash Scott and Yammy. They both splash me back, getting Ash and Rain in the process. Water bubbles float over their heads and burst, spraying water all over them.
"I'm in my element, don't mess with me." She says. Ash looks at all of us, we all splash her at the same time.
"Ok, you're all are in trouble now." She says
"Run!" We all swim away, laughing hysterically.
