i was angry.no, i was livid! " the fucking audacity!"  yelling while my hand works to push her away and out of my private space. her grin faded to a small smile shaking her head, her bang has a trendy blonde streak shining with the wild party lights.

" Caramel! give me a chance to say what i have to say and then you can hit me with a slipper, kitten" i growled hating my hormonal teenage body for reacting to her pet name

" no Ruby Rose! you lost the pet name privilege when you cast me out from your life  two years ago!" her shining eyes looked down a shamefully. my yelling surprisingly pulled Harriet's attention even with the loud music , frowning toward me and that's when she spotted Ruby and made a move to come and rescue me. Ruby noticed where i'm looking grunting something i didn't hear and her smile turned into a scowl.

" listen.. Cara... meet me at my room tonight, sneak out from your room's window... the familiar ladder is still in our hidden place" looking at me with pleading eyes that my asshole of heart broke upon seeing it . i blinked contemplating my respond before huffing a fine! and by that she disappeared in the crowds , leaving me quite shaken and her familiar perfume clinging rebelliously to my nostrils.

" why was she speaking to you! do i need to kick her ass? did she upset you? ill kick her ass, just say the word" she spit cracking her knuckles threateningly; i shook my head vigorously 

"let's just go....please" my shaky hands grasp her arm to pull her away with me. she complied with an angry frown but said nothing .

the ride home was tense, Harriet folding her arms annoyed by how i was easy on her and didn't slap her and gave her a piece of my mind , but i could never be such person to Ruby.. no matter how much hurt and tearful nights she caused me. i still want to give her a chance...to apologize and maybe to go back like old times.

i made sure to check if anyone still awake.... Harriet went straight to her room as soon as she greeted our mothers . Lucille and Dita went to bed thirty minutes ago.
putting my damp hair from the shower in a lose bun, wearing sweat pants and a t-shirt with no bra on. carefully opening my window and climbing out skillfully, falling with a thud on the backyard grass and running to Ruby's window. the process was memorized in my head despite how long i haven't done it. the ladder was behind the surfing boards in the backyard, specifically chosen to be lighter so i can use it easily ' i bet that aunt Kat knew about it and just dismiss it ' i smiled a little before starting to climb the ladder and fitting my foot in the chair she leaves for my short ass to climb inside without dying. carefully fitting my head inside her room without hitting the window like always. Ruby was pacing in the middle of her room, her radio was on muffling any dangerous sneaking in noises i make.

" you came!" she breathed, like i can say no to her. rolling my eyes

" like i can just ditch you when i agreed to come" i know i'm bitter about it still.she just shook her head smiling, her eyes racking all over my frame making me uneasy " so what is it you want to talk about" trying to compose myself ' she isn't getting away with it that easy' .her grin basically lit up the room, making my heart skip a beat...or two

" i'm going pro!"
