10 | TEN

Hearing some shuffling sounds, metals and glasses clanking against each other that resonates through the whole room he's currently in, Jimin opened his eyes. The bright light blinds his sight, causing him to close both his eyes back before opening it again and getting use to the full brightness. He was greeted with white ceilings above him and also white sheets covering his body, immediately noticing that he was laying in the hospital bed. A groan escaped his throat as he sat up on the bed.

"You're awake," Taehyung who was sitting next to the bed said. But his voice does not sound cheerful as usual, it sounded more stern and in a deeper tone this time. Jimin guessed that he's kind of angry or upset but still manage to gather all the courage he had in him to reply the latter across him.

"I'm opening my eyes already, so i guess i am," he chuckled softly and fixed his sitting position into a cross-legged one on his bed.

"Why didn't you tell me?" The other man asked after a few moment of silence, making a frown formed on Jimin's feature.

"What?" Jimin questioned back, clearly understanding what Taehyung was referring to in his question.

"Don't act as if you don't know. Tired, huh? Do you know how worried i am when you fainted earlier?!" he raised his voice earning some looks from people walking past which he ignored completely. His eyes were burning with flames of anger but bits of concern is still visible in them as he stared through his friend's eyes.

"Woah woah. Relax. It's not a big thing." Jimin said, putting his hand on Taehyung's shoulder to calm him down.

"You better be undergoing the surgery." Taehyung commanded and gulped as he paused. "You know how dangerous a brain tumor is. I'm sure Doctor Kang had explained to you about it," he continued, looking away from him and onto the ground, fiddling with his own finger.

"But..my patien-"

"Your health is important too!" Jimin flinched as Taehyung suddenly raises his voice, startling him. "Please, just this once, " He sighed.

Jimin know it. Taehyung is getting angry and saying no to his suggestion would make him more angrier. He wouldn't want the other man to throw tantrums and disturb the patients there. So, he agreed eventhough he was totally clueless as to why Taehyung is acting like that when he usually is very cheerful and gives support to him without being angry or emotional.

"Okay, i will,"

Any thoughts on why Taehyung is angry?
