"Annyeonghaseyo!"

One month and a half had passed. But yet Jimin haven't even get his tumor conditions checked, let alone considering about undergoing the surgery. The headache seldomly strikes him; and that makes him think that the cyst had gone. But little did he know, the cyst had already increased in its size, which had also increased his risk that may also be fatal to himself.

But rather than thinking and worrying about that, there he was, as usual, checking and talking to patients as he wrote their conditions of healths and progresses on his blue clipboard he had resting on his arm.

After doing all the routines, he exited the room and walked down the hallway, bumping to Taehyung as he also exited a patient's ward.

"Jimin-ah! You're on break now?" Jimin nodded at his question, making the other smile widely in pure happiness. Well, who doesn't if they get to eat with their one and only bestfriend? Or was it only him?

"Okay, Let's go have lunch! It's been a while since we ate together," He said in which Jimin immediately agreed. He was true, the last time they had a meal together was at Jimin's house; which was a month and a half ago.

After having their lunch together, both of them strided out from the cafeteria. As they returned to the wards area, the sight of a familiar woman crying and shaking the doctor's body in the ward filled in their visions. Jimin's eyes immediately dilates as his heartbeat fastens.

That woman was Hyerin's mother. Leaving Taehyung behind, Jimin rushed to the ward, sliding the door in a rather harsh manner that it diverts attention towards his direction. On the bed, laid the little girl that he once loved and cared so much, her skin pale as snow.

His heart shattered into million pieces as he saw the monitor next to the bed showed straight line without any fluctuations of her heartbeat.

"No! This can't be! This is not true! The monitor's broken!" He said as he made his step towards the girl, taking off his white coat. He intertwined both his hand above one another and put it on the girl's chest where her heart is located, giving her rapid chest compressions. As he did so, he kept on glancing the monitor, hoping to see changes. But there wasn't any. His tears started to flood his eyes to the brim before it drops on the girl's pale face.

"Doctor Park! Stop whatever you are doing right now!" The other doctor raised his voice at him, which he totally disobey.

"No! No! She's gonna make it, i know it! She's my strong girl!" He sobbed as he continued his actions.

"Doctor Park!" The doctor shouted, making Jimin halt. "You can't save her, she's already in her fourth stage when we last checked on her,"

"No! She's gonna make it, i know it!"

"Doctor Park!" The older doctor shouted, chest heaving up and down due to his anger. Doctors aren't trained to be like this. Doctors had to accept the fact that when their patients passed away, it meant that they are already in a critical condition and cannot be saved. But looking at Jimin acting like that, totally opposite with what they're taught before, triggered the anger button he had in him.

"Why? Why didn't you tell me earlier? Why? Why? WHY?!" Jimin yelled. He let go of the girl and made his way to Hyerin's mom then kneel infront of her. "Eomoni, i'm sorry. I'm really sorry. Please forgive me. I failed in keeping my promise," He apologized while still sobbing.

The lady then helped him to stand back up.

"It's okay, Doctor Park. It's okay. I don't blame you. I know you've done your best. But we can't change her fate, God loves her more,"
