The calendar showed the day's date as Jimin's doe eyes stared blankly at the two-digit number. He still have approximately two weeks before his tumor removal surgery. His thumb ghosted over the lighted phone screen and he tapped on the small box with the number ten displayed on it. He typed down'surgery day' in the square as a reminder for himself, just in case if he forgets it again like last time, where he was supposed to attend the meeting.

He had also done some research on glioblastoma, the scientific name of the brain tumor he had. The accident happened three days ago where he forgot about the meeting is one of the big symptoms. The tumor he had has already gotten bigger in size that it started to affect his brain functions and if he didn't undergo the surgery or chemotherapy treatment shortly, it will leave a bigger effect on him.

"Oi," Jimin turned his head to look at the voice owner's face. He's now taking his seat beside Jimin on the ocean blue plastic chair while both of his hands shoved inside his white coat pockets. "What are you looking at, i mean on your phone? You looked really serious while doing so." He moved closer to Jimin to take a peek on the device he held in between his fingers.

"Oh, i'm just checking my calendar," Jimin stated while shutting his phone screen off then sliding it inside his white coat right pocket. "And make some reminders for myself."

"What for? Is it-"

"Yes, the surgery is confirmed. It will be held at the end of this month," Jimin answered, interrupting Taehyung's sentence.

A small gasp leave the other male's mouth, "Woah! Really?"

"Why do you always doubt me? I didn't tell you lies all the time. Argh, you make me feel so sad," Jimin mumbled out. Looking down on the floor, he pushed his lower lip out slightly to form a cute pout.

"Ah, no. It's just that i still can't believe that you agreed to undergo the surgery," He glanced at the pouty Jimin next to him. "Aigoo, is Diminie sad? I'm sorry," He dragged the word sorry in his sentence, trying his best to say it cutely. "TaeTae won't doubt Diminie again okay? Promise," He added as his hands are brought up to Jimin's face to pinch his adorable chubby cheeks.

"Yah, yah! I'm still older than you okay? Stop treating me like a kid," He huffed, swatting Taehyung's hands away and glared at the latter in annoyance.

"Yeah, just by two months though, not two years," he remarked while raising both of his eyebrows. Trying to act innocent as he moved his gaze to the hallway, looking at the people walking past.

"Says the one who cried like a baby, scared of me dying," Jimin teased back, crossing his arms infront of his chiseled chest as he straightened up his sitting posture.

"Yah, wh- you- wha- argh!" Taehyung tried to deny Jimin but ending up cutting off his own words. A hearty laugh is heard from Jimin as he looked at Taehyung's funny yet cute behaviour.

Taehyung then gave up and let out a long sigh while rubbing his face with his hand. "You win this time."

Jimin smiled. "Taehyung-ah,"

"What?" he responded, the word coming out almost like a whisper as he faced his friend.

"I'm really thankful and absolutely grateful to have you as my bestfriend. You are always there whenever i have a problem and cried. You always tell me that i'm doing really well. You are always by my side; become a shoulder for me to lean on, an ear to listen all my rantings and cryings. You also never forget leave compliments for me whenever i felt down. Can you- can you do it again?"

My friends called me robot and '2 3 2 3' because of my results grades😂

And by the way, i can't update this book chapters regularly anymore after this because i'm gonna start school soon. The updates are still there tho, just not that frequent anymore. 😅
