"One mint mocha for Cody!" The girl calls out.

Cody looks up and slides his phone back into his jacket pocket. He walks up to the counter and grabs his warm drink.

"Here's this too." The girl slides him a small sandwich wrapped in brown paper, "It's from all of us because we feel like you haven't come in a while."

Cody pulls his white scarf down that was covering his mouth and smiles, "Thanks, Hannah. Thanks, you guys." He waves to the girls in the kitchen.

"Bye, Cody!" The girl waves.

"Bye, guys, I'll probably be back tomorrow." Cody chuckles and leaves the café.

There was snow slowly falling onto the already snow-covered sidewalk. He walks to his truck and pulls out his keys. He unlocks the door and quickly turns on the truck to put the heater on high.

He pulls out of the parking spot and his phone starts to ring. He takes it out of his pocket and puts it on speaker while pulling out of the driveway and onto the main street.

"Hey, the meeting ended early and the weather report said that there was going to be a snowstorm soon so they want all the kids to go home early too." Aaron says.

"Okay, I'm already on my way. How was the meeting?" Cody asks.

Aaron sighs, "Most of the teachers still don't like me. They all think that I'm too dangerous and that I'm just a straight up demon and-"

"Calm down, Aaron. Everything is going to be okay. I'm a few minutes away from the school so we can talk about it then." Cody says.

"Yeah okay." Aaron rubs the back of his neck.

"How about we all watch a movie tonight and get some hot chocolate to relax?" Cody asks.

"Yeah," Aaron smiles, "I'd like that."

"Okay, see you in a few. I love you."

"Love you too." Aaron's smile grows and he hangs up.

"Dad!" Chat yells and runs down the hall at him.

"Where is your jacket? Do you even realize how cold it is?" Aaron picks him up.

"I left it in papa's truck this morning." Chat says.

"Chat!" A small blond haired girl runs to him, "Let's go play in the snow before you leave!"

Chat looks to Aaron for permission and he nods. He puts Chat down and him and the girl run out of the building.

"Mr. Tallas?" A lady taps Aaron's shoulder, "I'm sorry but can I talk to you for a moment?"

"S-sure." Aaron nods.

"I'm Lana Perez, I'm one of the history teachers here." She says and then looks around, "In all honesty, I don't think you should keep trying to work here. A devil as a teacher-"

"Don't call me that. I, myself, am not a devil nor a demon." Aaron says.

"Many of these children and families watch your fights and know what you're capable of. Sure, children think it looks cool but the parents are going to be worried about sending their child to school to be in the same room as a person who's responsible for many deaths." Lana says.

"I have no intention of-"

"Yes, I know but other parents don't know that. I don't even know you that well. I don't know if you have a short and aggressive temper like that one boy in your fighting group." She shakes her head.

"Max isn't aggressive to innocent people and he would never think to hurt a woman or child. You have the wrong idea about all of us."

"Or that other boy with the short white and red hair-"
