Dolly's pov:
I booped Blair's nose softly as she continued writing out her final essay for her history class. I saw her smile through the reflection on her screen.

"How many pages do you have left? I wanna cuddle and watch Netflix with youuuuu" I whines softly putting my head on her shoulder. She giggled at my child like whining and continued to type out whatever kinda historical shit that was important for that class.

"I have two more pages left, why don't you go get food while I finish this up?" She kisses my head and I sighed dramatically getting up.

"Alright, you better be finished by the time I'm back though!" I grabbed my keys and put on a light pink hoodie I stole from my mom before blowing Blair a kiss goodbye. I've visited my mom a few times just to make sure she's ok and happy, and I've never seen her smile so big just to be at home. But of course I completely understand, it sucks to be in a hospital for months and only going home for a few times a month or so.

The only thing that does make her slightly sad is me having to leave and head back to my dorm. I could stay with her everyday like we used to but I know that I can't always have her by my side. I sometimes wish I could turn back time and be mommy's favorite five year old again, just to spend more time with her without worrying about work.

I tapped my steering wheel a bit as I drove down to a small Chinese restaurant, quick and easy. I was taken out of my thoughts when I started hearing a familiar tune. I looked at the radio and turned up the volume a bit to hear the lyrics.

"Can anybody find me somebody to love..."

I smiled as the song continued playing, my mom would always play this song after a bad day, and we would both dramatically dance to it. She always said that one day she hoped that she would find herself somebody to love, even though it sounded cheesy I told her that she will find a king to her queen.

I parked in the parking lot and just sat there taking in everything. I smiled even more knowing that she did find somebody, and even I found my own somebody to love. I didn't even notice I was crying until I felt a water drop slide down my cheek. I wasn't crying because I was sad, I was crying cause everything fell into place in the end.

Even though my mother had no plan to have me, she still took responsibility and raised me into a successful woman I am now. She didn't have hope of having a better life at all, even when moving to LA she thought her life would be horrible. But now she's happy and with someone who actually cares about her.

I wiped away the rest of my tears and made sure I didn't look too horrible before getting out of the car. I know I sound sappy and all that but, now jut realizing how everything worked out in the end, just really makes me happy. As I waited in line for my food I decided that this weekend I was gonna see my mom, and bring back some memories.
