A thousand years

Dolly's pov:
I smiled widely sitting next to my mom on the couch. I couldn't help but bounce in my spot waiting to tell my mom the most amazing news.

At this point I finally graduated from college, me and Blair have been stronger then ever and even bought a beautiful apartment together for the both of us. Aquaria and Miz are of course going strong as well, and Aquarian's mom has finally accepted Miz into their family after so many years.

As for my family, my mom has been cancer free for nine years and grew back her gorgeous golden curls along with having her curvy body back. She's never been happier being able to spend every moment with the whole family. Momma Zamo wishes she could keep up with my mother's energy but it's impossible since she just keeps getting more and more each day she tells me.

Brian and Katie don't fight as much anymore but still have their disagreements now and then. But it's nice to see that hey can sit next to each other without ripping out ones hair or the others earring.

"Ok ok tell me nowwww! I've been waiting so long to hear what you have to tell meeee!" My mom lightly smacked her hands on my thigh in excitement. I giggled and got myself comfortable and faced her.

"Well...you know how me and Blair have been together for so long right..." she nodded waiting for me to continue the rest of the news. When it comes to telling her exciting stuff like this, she wants you to cut right to the chase since she gets so impatient if you drag it out for too long.

"Ok andddddd? Did you guys get a house?! Did you adopt?! Oh os Blair pregnant?!" I laughed and shook my head at all her guesses.

"No not yet mommmmm, but it's very close to that...so a week ago I took Blair to a beautiful lake under the stars...and then this happened..." I lifted up my hand to show her the gorgeous gold banded ring with diamonds covering it all around with a big light pink diamond in the middle. Blair's ring was he same except her middle diamond was a light blue.

My mom screamed in excitement before grabbing my hand and looking at the ring closer.

"Oh my GODDDDD!! MY BABYGIRL IS GETTING MARRIED!!" She then jumped up from the couch and danced around the room in happiness. I couldn't help but join her as we both screamed and laughed together. After a while we sat back down to catch our breaths.

"I can't believe it, my little babygirl if getting married to the woman of her dreams! It feels like yesterday you were a little girl dressing up and pretending you were getting married!" My mom breathed out. I giggled and turned to her moving some hair out of my face.

"Time flies doesn't it momma....but listen...I want you to know hat no matter how old I'm getting and how far away I'm moving from you...I'm still your special little girl...we can never be inseparable..I'll always find my way back to you...I'm so grateful to be by your side and figure out the world together...all I can say is...thank you so much for everything you've done for me...there's no way I can pay you back for all the sacrifices and choices you made for me...your the best mother I could ask for...I love you so so much mommy..." tears welled up in her eyes as I finished. She pulled me into a tight hug and we sat there in each other's embrace for a while.

"I love you so so so so much my babygirl...no matter what anyone says...your my amazing, strong, smart, beautiful, and loving babygirl...and I couldn't ask for a better daughter..." tears of happiness fell down my cheeks before I shoved my face into my mothers shoulder.

I remember the last time we had a close and loving hug like this, it was years ago when I was only just a little girl, we sat in the tiny master bedroom of my mothers apartment back in Milwaukee, there she said our lives were going to change for the better, and that no matter what, we'll always be by one another's side...till death do us part...
