-hi! i really feel like i'm loosing readers, i hope you still love the story :( please comments your thoughts-

Luke's mum called last night, just after Ashton and Luke's date while the blonde was still on cloud nine after their kiss. She was sad and she literally begged for Luke to come home and the boy had no choice, he agreed. He was upset because he loved being here with Ashton and he would probably be just fine for a few days without him, but still.

The worst part was the fact that Luke's dad was still mad at him, and on his way to his house Luke couldn't help but feeling like it was gonna be awful.

"Lukey!" Liz said when Luke entered the house.

She practically ran to Luke and tugged him into a tight hug. Luke hugged back, he understood that she needed him right now because losing a child is the worst thing that can happen to a parent and Luke wanted his mother to feel supported.

"You look thin, are you eating well?" She said cupping the young man's cheeks.

"Mum." He said gripping her wrists. "I'm fine, I've been gone for two weeks you know."

"Yeah, but still I'll make you mac and cheese tonight!" She said heading to the kitchen. "Dad is in the office." She yelled from the kitchen.

Luke sighed on his way to his dad's office, this was going to be awkward because he knew he had to apologize again even if he had done nothing wrong. He knocked two times at the door and he cracked it open softly.

"Hi dad." He said.

"Luke." Andy closed his laptop. "What are you doing here? Don't you have school?"

"Mum asked me to come home for a few days... She didn't tell you?" Luke frowned.

"No... apparently." Andy said opening his laptop again.

Luke sighed, he felt rejected by his own dad, that was hurting like hell.

"Dad please... can we talk?" He asked walking to the desk.

"I'm busy Luke." Andrew answered not looking up.

The blonde sighed, bottling up all of his emotions.

"Please, I already apologized what do you want me to do?" Luke said.

"I want you to change Luke! You need to change!" Andy stood up pointing at his son. "You can keep doing this! You need help!"

"Dad I already have a ton of pills what do you-"

"Just go away... I'm busy." He said sitting back in his chair.

Luke clenched his fists, breathing heavily. He felt so alone, he was so alone right now. His dad was ignoring him and yes maybe Luke had a problem and maybe he needed help but now he felt like he was the garbage of the family, he felt worthless and useless.

Firstly he needed his father's help and support, but he was a failure to him sadly.

Luke felt tears prickling his eyes and he was so tired of crying all the time, he was so weak. His eyes roamed the room and he grabbed his dad's stapler on the desk he didn't think and he threw it against the wall violently.

Andy jolted, pressing a hand against his heart.

"Are you crazy?" He screamed at Luke.

"Stop saying that!" Luke yelled back. "I'm not crazy, this is a disorder dad it's not-"

"Hey what's going on in there?" Liz said opening the door roughly.

"You're a freak Luke, get out of my house!" Andy said pointing at the door, before rushing out of the room.

"Andrew!" Liz scolded but the older Hemmings was already gone.

Luke froze, his heart aching at his father's words. He called him a freak.

"Luke... aw baby come here." Liz said tugging his son into a hug. "He doesn't mean it." She said rubbing his back. "You're not a freak baby don't ever think that okay?"

"I-I'm not s-so sure anymore mum." He said containing his sobs.

"Hush... It's okay angel, I'm here." She said sweetly patting his cheek.

The rest of the day was awkward, Luke's dad didn't leave his room even for dinner. Regarding Liz, she was trying her best to make Luke feel better but it wasn't as easy as it seemed. After dinner Luke quickly ran into his room, locking the door and sitting behind it his legs pressed against his chest.

He wished he could have someone to talk right now.

So he dialled Ashton's number. Because lately, Ashton was the only person Luke had.

"How's the life at the Hemmings' residence?" Ashton giggled through the phone as a hello.

"Not that great." He sighed. "My father hates me."

"What happened?"  He asked worriedly.

"He said I was a freak."

There was a silence and Luke closed his eyes, trying not to cry again.

"He's wrong you know that right?" Ashton said. "You're not a freak Luke, you hear me?"

"I-I... Maybe he's right, I'm not no-normal." He said his voice shaking.

The line went silent, Luke was crying silently his back against the wooden door, everything seemed to fall apart lately and there was nothing he could do to stop it.

"I'll be there in 5." Ashton said.

"N-no wait what? It's oka-"

Too late, Ashton hanged up.

The blonde sighed, wrapping his arms tighter around his knees. Four minutes later he heard little knocks at his window, reluctantly the young Hemmings got up and walked to the window. He cracked a fond smile when he caught Ashton in the garden smiling at him. The brown-haired boy climbed the tree and a few seconds later he was in Luke's room.

"Throwing rocks at my window... really?" Luke giggled.

"It was small rocks." Ashton shrugged and Luke smiled sadly. "You look like shit." He said eyeing the blonde from head to toes.

"Thanks." Luke giggled sadly.

Ashton tugged him on the bed, Luke curled himself against the older boy and they cuddled the entire night, watching dumbs tv shows and kissing sometimes because Luke figured that it was a nice distraction to his sadness.

And Ashton wanted Luke to be happy.

"You're not a freak." Ashton whispered against Luke's lips.

The blonde ignored him and he pressed their lips together again, brushing away those thoughts.

Ashton stopped him, he pressed his hand on the blond chest and pulled away softly resting his forehead on Luke's. He grabbed is attention, locking their eyes while Luke shuffled on the bed.

"You're not a freak Lu." He said seriously. "Say it."

The blonde cringed, looking away.

"Say it."

"Why?" He said fiddling with his fingers.

"Because..." Ashton caressed his cheek. "It's important that you believe it." Luke hummed, not really convinced. "C'mon say it."

"I-I'm not a fr-freak." He whispered.

"Louder." Ashton ordered, replacing some blonde curls out of his eyes.

"Ash-" Luke squirmed against Ashton.

"Louder Luke." The older boy grabbed Luke's chin, locking their eyes again.

"I'm not a freak." He said.

"No, you're not." Ashton sighed softly, resting his forehead against Luke's once again. "You're so beautiful inside..." The blonde blushed and Ashton smirked before pecking his nose. "I wish you could see yourself through my eyes to see how precious you are."
