Jia's POV

I turned my chair around to face Jeonghan at his desk. To my surprise he wasn't sleeping for once.

"So you and Hansol," he snickers as he cups his face in his hands.

My face automatically turn red. "N-nothing's going on between u-us."

"Is that right?" He then leans forward over his desk and brings his face close to mine. "Then will you date me instead?"

I leaned back on my chair getting even more flushed. "I-I uhm-"

Jeonghan sits back down on his chair. "I'm kidding."

"You better be," Jimin appears on her chair beside me.

"Where were you?" I asked.

"The rooftop," she says casually. "With Mingyu and Chan."

"You mean the spot where you and Wonwoo used to have your make out sessions." Jeonghan teases.

"Go back to sleep Snow White." Jimin snaps not looking away from her phone.

Jeonghan rolls his eyes at her then looks back at me. He opens his mouth to say something but was interrupted by the sound of different ringtones and vibrations from everyone's phone in the class, including mine.

I take my phone out of my skirt pocket.

I unlocked my phone and clicked on the text message right away. I gasped as soon as I saw what the attachment was. I clicked on it and it takes me to a news article from today's paper.

JEON AEYOUNG CONFIRMS SON'S ENGAGEMENT

'Confirmed: Jeon Wonwoo, heir of Jeon Industries is to marry CEO of JYP Entertainment's daughter Yoo Jungyeon in 3 weeks time.

"It has been a well hidden secret for a long time," Jeon Aeyoung says, "and as current owner of Jeon Industries and mother of Wonwoo I am pleased to say that the time has finally come for these two young people to learn the ropes and become the best successors they can be in a few years."'

The class starts whispering to each other. Some are shocked. Some are annoyed. Other's are just plain jealous.

And like it was on cue Jungyeon enters the room with Junhui.

The class stop and stare as they make their way to their seats at the very back.

Jungyeon then looks over at me as if to ask for help. She gives me a 'what's going on?' type of face.

"Don't you all have better thing's to do?" Junhui stands back up. "Even if ssaem isn't here yet you all should be focussing on the end of year test."

"But class president," Momo stands from her chair and makes her way slowly to their desk. "Have't you heard the news? Your secret girlfriend is engaged."

Junhui was taken aback by Momo's words.

"Secret girlfriend? "Who? Yoo Jungyeon?" "I'm so annoyed" and so on were murmured thought the classroom.

"W-what are you talking about Momo?" Junhui tried hard to hide the surprised look on his face.

"So you haven't seen the article yet," Momo smirks. She then takes her phone out and places it on Junhui's table.

Junhui looks down while Jungyeon leans over to see.

"You two are secretly dating aren't you? You didn't want people to find out because you," she points at Jungyeon, "are engaged to Jeon Wonwoo."

"I-I uh..." Jungyeon couldn't defend herself.

Jeonghan rises from his seat abruptly causing the chair to create an unbearable sound againts the floor. He stares right at Momo for a quick second before he says, "you're so annoying. Just shut your mouth and sit down will you? Aishhh you're giving me a headache!"

Momo rolls her eyes. "Why would you defend-"

"What's going on?" Wonwoo appears behind Momo.

She turns around bewildered for a quick second before she gestures to her phone on Junhui's desk.

He walks past her and takes the phone in his hand. His eyes turned to fire with rage as he reads the article.

"Did you know your fiancé has been cheating on you with-"

Wonwoo throws her phone against the back wall causing bits and pieces of it to ricochet. He then takes Jungyeon by the arm, pulls her off her seat and out the door.

Jungyeon's POV

"We have to date."

I roll my eyes.

"I'm serious." Wonwoo looks at me pleadingly. "Momo know's about you and Junhui. That bitch will do anything to cause drama, trust me."

"Okay but why can't we just pretend that she's wrong? That nothing she says is true?" I folded my arms.

"Because!" Wonwoo was stressing out so much. "If my mother finds out about you and Junhui she will end him. He's been my one of best friend's for the longest time, Jungyeon, please. I'm begging you. Being stubborn is never good when it comes to my mother."

He's right, I thought.

"You love him and you want to protect him as much as I do." Wonwoo's eyes soften.

I unfolded my arms. "What do you want me to do then?"

"When you and I are out in public we have to act like a couple, especially at school. We have to trick every single person that sees us. We're going to get followed by paparazzi's from now on, no doubt. They will want to ask about our engagement too." Wonwoo was so serious it was scary. "And lastly," he sighs and takes his bag off his shoulders then unzips it. He reaches into the small pocket at the front and takes out a small royal blue box. He opens it, revealing a silver ring with a perfectly cut diamond on top. "I was uh-" he struggled to let the words out. "I was going to ask Jimin to marry me and runaway..."

I took a step back and shake my head. "I can't take that."

"You have to!" He take my hand forcefully and slips the ring onto my ring finger. "Let this be a symbol of protection instead of love. Every time you see this remember who you're protecting."

I love you, Wen Junhui.
