I only own Cassandra.

Cassandra stirred in her sleep. She was having a nightmare, one that she didn’t understand. Henry sat beside of her. He didn’t know what was happening, only that they were both in danger. They were both captives of Peter Pan.

Henry began to question everything he knew. If Peter Pan, one of the most beloved fairytale characters, was truly evil, who’s to say that other famous characters that everyone believed was good were actually that way? Something was off about Pan.

The girl sat up as she woke, pausing for a moment to take in her surroundings. Her eyes widened.

“Hen-Henry?” She whispered, then wrapped her arms around him. He held on to her tightly.

“Cassie!” He quietly spoke into her ear. The boy was happy she was awake; he was scared to be alone.

“Where are we?” Cassandra asked, pulling away to look around. They were in a small tent, with only the grass serving as a sort of cushion for the hard ground. “What happened?”

“Peter Pan kidnapped us. I think we might be in his camp.” Henry held his knees to his chest.

Cassandra sighed. “Peter Pan… he was in one of my dreams.”

Henry turned to look at her. The girl played with the ends of her hair as she spoke.

“He…told me that I couldn’t beat him. That no matter what, he would always win in the end.”

“Is that all he said?” Henry asked after a moment of silence.

“Yeah,” Cassandra replied. “But what could that mean? I never even met him, so how could he know me?”

Henry shrugged. “Maybe he-“

“Wait,” the girl interrupted. She held her shoulder. “The marking. The prophecy.”

“What are you talking about?”

Cassandra pushed aside part of her shirt to reveal the tattoo of the feather. “The prophecy that Tinkerbell told me. She said that the lady of flora and fauna, supposedly me, will travel across realms, from Storybrooke to Neverland, to protect the truest believer, apparently you, from the youth holder, which is Pan.”

They both paused for a moment, mulling it over. “So…what does the tattoo mean?” Henry asked.

“The prophecy also states that the lady is connected to the youth holder by marking. So maybe Pan has the same tattoo as I do.”

“I’m still confused,” Henry admitted. Cassandra looked over at him. “What does the tattoo even do?”

“I think it might-“

“Glad to see you’re awake, Cassandra,” a voice called. Cassandra and Henry looked to the entrance of the tent to see Pan smirking at them. “Hello to you, Henry.”

Cassandra stood up, glaring at Pan. “What do you want with us?”

Pan chuckled. “I thought we already went over this.”

“Let us go,” Henry demanded, standing next to Cassandra.

“Sorry,” Pan said sarcastically. “No one leaves Neverland without my permission.”

“Control freak…” Henry muttered under his breath. Cassandra smiled a bit.

Pan growled before sticking his head out of the tent and calling for someone. A couple of Lost Boys entered the small tent, including the blonde boy that Cassie and Henry saw earlier. The one who helped kill Greg and Tamara.
