I only own Cassandra.
“Be careful, Cassie,” a voice whispered. It caused the girl to turn around in the black abyss that she was floating in.
“Hello?” She called out, listening for a response. The voice was different. Familiar. Whose voice was it?
“Danger is close. He is deceitful. He has a beautiful appearance but dark intentions. Be careful, my friend.” The girl continued to look around for a figure to connect the voice to.
“Please, tell me! Who are you speaking of?” Her voice was strained, it didn’t sound like her own. But at the same time, it did.
“Peter Pan will fail. You will rule again. Cassandra…” a figure appeared. They were covered in a green glow. Cassandra could not identify the person.
“Who are you?”
“A friend.” The figure seemed to smile at her.
“A friend?” Cassandra repeated. She was so confused. The figure floated closer to the girl.
“Wake up, Cassie.” The black surroundings became brighter, and there was a loud sound similar to a shattering piece of glass. “Wake up.”
Cassandra looked at the self-destructing land, and then back at the figure. As she felt herself being pulled away from her slumber, she had a split second to recognize the figure that was growing further and further away. Tinkerbell.
…
Cassandra woke with a start, as usual. Her breathing was rapid, her heart pounded, her mind was jumbled. Tinkerbell was warning her. About Pan. Something was wrong. Cassandra felt herself begin to doubt everything. Tinkerbell, even if she had left, had gone for a reason. And Pan was, after all, the one who brought her here. And he had basically instructed Felix to harm her. Cassandra questioned Pan’s family status. She doubted that he could be trusted.
“Ow!” Cassandra heard Henry exclaim. She turned to see him standing up to face a Lost Boy by the name of Jeremiah. The girl frowned as she listened in on their conversation.
“So you’re the kid that Pan has been looking for all this time?” Jeremiah asked, pointing his sword made of sticks closer and closer to Henry’s chest. Cassandra stepped forward.
“Ask him.” Henry began to walk backwards. Jeremiah scoffed before swinging the sword at him. “Stop it!”
The action in the campsite ceased. Cassandra glared at Jeremiah. Henry didn’t remove his gaze from the boy in front of him.
“If you can’t take this,” Jeremiah said, poking his sword into Henry’s chest. “Then how are you going to handle what Pan has in store for you?”
Henry didn’t reply. But then he noticed a stick on the ground. The other Lost Boys chuckled at the realization that Henry might actually fight back. Cassandra bit her lip. Jeremiah nodded toward the stick, urging a fight. Pan stepped into the campsite, watching. Cassandra turned to look at him. He didn’t seem to notice her gaze.
