I only own Cassandra.
The group stood in the midst of the grand hallway, patiently waiting the opening of the doors that would introduce them to the ballroom, where the celebration would begin. Everyone wore fancy attire, but some felt more comfortable in it than others.
“Is this really what you wore?” Emma asked her parents, attempting to stretch out the tight fabric wrapped around her chest. Her dress was simple, much to her pleasure, a fiery red with golden accents. Her golden locks were pulled back into a loose, twisted bun, with only a few strands hanging down to compliment her face.
Mary Margaret smiled at her daughter. She wore a light blue gown with long sleeves and purple ribbons criss-crossing her chest and wrapping into a bow that hung down in the front of the skirt. “I used to love these dresses, but I have to admit that wearing pants was a bit more comfortable.” She gave a sideways smile to David, who returned it.
Hook was off to the side with Blue and Tinkerbell, watching Emma. His outfit was much beyond what he was used to; it was more a royal outfit than anything. David wore a similar attire. Hook wouldn’t admit it to anyone except the woman he was observing herself, but he thought she looked absolutely magnificent. His mind flashed to the memories of them kissing. A small smile snuck onto his unshaven face. Tink and Blue exchanged glances.
The fairies both wore an outfit that purely described their personality. Tinkerbell was clothed in a bright green dress, held up by golden pieces of fabric that went over her shoulders. Her curls were released from being held up, barely meeting the top of her dress. Blue wore a similar, but a bit more elaborate gown. It was of a blue and purple color, strapless, and one that she had made herself, many years ago. Her hair was down as well, but straightened. It gave her a younger look.
“When is this celebration supposed to begin?” Regina asked a nearby silver guard. Her gown was a long black one with red accents. She at first refused to wear it, until she recognized that there was a note sent by Cassandra attached to the back. ‘Without the Evil Queen, none of us would be standing here. You deserve a moment of remembrance to remind everyone who you were, but are no longer. Henry and I see the good in you. In due time, you will too. –Cassie’
The creature smiled. “When the Queen gives the word. You are missing someone are you not?”
The group realized who had yet to join them. Henry.
…
“When will you join us?” Henry asked the girl who was fixing his hair. She chuckled.
“Soon, Henry. I want to make sure that this memory of Neverland is a bit more…joyful. And for that to happen, I figured I had to spend some one-on-one time with you before the party begins.” The Queen was still in her simple white gown from earlier. Henry, on the other hand, was wearing a brown and green ensemble. His jacket and pants were a dark shade of brown, with his undershirt being a deep green.
“When does the party begin, anyway?” Cassandra finished brushing out his brown locks before responding.
“As soon as you get down there.” He stood up and walked to the door, a bright smile lighting up his face. “And when you enter the ballroom, tell the musicians to play. I shall arrive at the end of the first musical score.”
