I only own Cassandra.
Cassandra suddenly sat up in the bed, gasping. Her brown eyes were wide. Her heart was pounding. Tinkerbell was startled awake from her sleeping position in the chair that sat in the corner. The fairy watched as her friend held her head in her hands.
“Cassie?” Tinkerbell ran to the side of the girl’s bed. “Are you alright?”
Cassandra lifted her head. Tears were streaming down her face, but she didn’t understand why. Her mind seemed to recognize the familiar face and the unfamiliar location.
“Tink…Wh-where am I?” Cassandra asked.
“The hospital,” Tinkerbell replied. She went on to explain what happened before Cassandra woke up.
There was a knock on the door. Cassandra watched as Tinkerbell opened the door, revealing Blue and Emma. “How are you feeling?” Blue asked, walking to stand beside of Tinkerbell near the bed. Emma leaned against the wall.
“I’m fine. I just had a weird dream,” admitted Cassandra.
“A dream?” Blue asked, intrigued. “What about?”
Cassandra furrowed her eyebrows. “I…I can’t really remember. All I remember was walking through a forest, a castle, and a strange mirror.”
“Mirror?” Emma voiced, drawing Cassandra’s attention. “What about a mirror?”
While Cassandra was confused at the interest in the mirror, the other women knew that mirrors were often recognized as symbols of the Evil Queen.
“I don’t really know. I can’t focus on it,” Cassandra whispered. “Who are you?”
“I’m the sheriff. Emma Swan,” Emma introduced herself. “And I understand that you are the one that is going to protect my son?”
“Your son?” Cassandra asked before realizing. “Henry is your son?”
“Yes.” Emma looked a bit uneasy.
“Well, it’s nice to meet you. I’m Cassandra,” the girl said, giving a small smile. Emma walked over to shake her hand.
“Nice to meet you as well.”
“So how do you feel?” Tinkerbell asked Cassandra.
“I’m alright. Just a bit confused at the moment,” Cassandra said.
“You can check out of here in a little bit. Dr. Whale is going to come check on you and give you the all clear before we give you the tour of Storybrooke,” said Blue.
Cassandra nodded.
…
“This is the library.” Blue gestured to the building that they were walking past. “Belle started taking care of it, but she can’t at the moment.”
“She’s in the hospital with amnesia, right?” Cassandra asked, pulling her jacket closer around her body.
Tinkerbell nodded. Her mind was elsewhere during the tour of the town. She kept going back to the thought of leaving Cassie to return home. She wasn’t sure if Hook could really be trusted, but she knew that he would do anything for Emma. If Cassie was helping protect Emma’s son, then Hook would be indirectly helping Emma by watching over Cassandra. But Hook would still be hesitant to help-he knew who he was up against if he helped the girl.
“Tinkerbell!” The fairy jumped. “Are you alright? You were totally out of it.”
Tinkerbell looked at the concerned face of her friend and then at Blue. “Yeah, I’m fine.”
