Todays our first date. I couldn't wait. I ran around the house like an excited puppy. I was ready way too early. I had to try and sit down for a few minutes but I was up and down like a yoyo.
I tried to distract myself by watching some tv but all that seemed to be on was Inside Number 9. Now I love the show. I really do but it only made me more anxious. It was like him showing off how brilliant he is.
Luckily for me it soon got to the right time. I took a deep breath and was ready to go.
I headed off to the restaurant doing my absolute best to hold myself together.
-The Restaurant-
Luckily for me Reece was already there. He saw me walking in and waved me over. He looked so good. It was partly annoying but also partly added to his crush worthiness. I tried not to stare at him but he always made it hard.
I walked over and sat with him. He Kindly moved my chair so I could sit down. He was such a sweet, kind guy. He has a hard outside with a soft centre.
We sat talking and waiting for our food. Within minutes my face was hurting. I couldn't stop laughing. He had been with Steve the hours before. They where working on some new material. I just hoped that it was another series. I just tried to be me as best I could so that he would not think I was just here because of his work.
I ordered some pesto pasta. Normally I felt pressure and anxious when eating but with Reece it felt like eating in front of a family member. I just knew he was not going to judge me. We soon got some food. which was bloody brilliant. Great food. It made me a little sad that I could not cook as well.
We stayed much longer than we should have. Time just seemed to fly past. It always did when we where together. We would talk about everything. Even things that seemed out of bonds with anyone else. Like we trusted that the other would not judge and was going to keep all of our secrets.
The date ended too fast. I soon found myself at home in my jogging bottoms.
