It was the next day and Reece had agreed to come around after work. I had some sickness throughout the day but the biggest pain was anxiety. The overwhelming anxiety of it all messing around with my body.
I did not know how to tell him. I kept thinking what if I just say it even before he says hello. What if he faints. All these questions floating around.
He was going to be at my house for 7pm. I did whatever I could to fill the time before he arrive things like having a shower to fill the time before he came and to give myself some courage.
-7PM-
A knock filled the house. I took a deep breath and cleared my throat.
I opened the door and there he was smiling his gorgeous smile.
"Hello."
"Hello" I softly let out.
We kissed and then headed in. I had ordered some food so that I did not have another thing to worry about.
We went into the kitchen. I had brought him his favourite alcohol. I poured him a glass and handed it to him.
"Thank you. Not having any ?"
"It's ok. Erm.... no. There's something I need to tell you Reece."
I saw the range of emotions flood his face. Things like worry, shock, sadness, interest. I took a deep breath and focused fully on what I was doing. I left the room for a second . I came back with my hands behind my back.
"Reece... I can't drink because..."
I pulled the pregnancy tests out from behind my back so that they where in plain sight.
He looked down. Then up at me... Then down again and then back up to me.
"NO." The shock was real.
I smiled and nodded. I felt like I was going to cry.
He took them off me.
"Really !?" He asked in what I think was happy shock.
"Yes. 100%" I began to cry happy tears.
A massive Cheshire Cat smile hit his face. His arms where soon around me. He held me close. He lent back and looked me in the eyes " I love you so much."
I began to cry whilst laughing which was not a pretty sight. The one direction song was very wrong.
"I love you Reece."
We kissed.
We where on a high for the rest of the night. Just like giddy children. Reece of cause had the normal types of questions like how many weeks. I was eight weeks so the baby was the size of a raspberry. We also talked about when we would tell other people. We decided that we would meet each others family before telling them.
