After a couple of days Reece had to go. We both had lots of work to do. Though the child in me made it very difficult for him to go.
-REECE TRYING TO LEAVE-
"But whhhhhyyyy..." I complained like a child would to their mother.
"Because we both have work." He sounded like a disgruntled parent.
"BUUUUUTTTT REEEECCCCEEE." I complained again and hugged him as tight as I could.
He laughed and hugged me close.
"Listen...."
I looked him in the eye.
"If you let me leave now. Next time I will try to say longer."
That made the biggest grin spread across my face.
"Promise ?"
He smiled and said "Promise."
"YAY !" I suddenly became very excited and hugged him even tighter.
He chuckled and kept hugging tightly.
-THE NEXT FEW DAYS-
The next few days at work went by like years. I loved my work but I missed Reece so much.
I pulled myself through the next few days until I had some kind of time off.
I planned on surprising Reece just like he did with me. He deserved a surprise.
