It was Friday. We had only two days left and we will have completed the week. We looked around my old village in the morning. It was so strange. Reece started to understand why it was like the League.
-LUNCH-
At lunch time we met up with two of my best friends. We kept in touch but I had not seen them in person for a very long time. They seemed to like Reece. They enjoyed telling him stores about night outs and getting our tattoos.
It made me feel more comfortable in the fact I had found the right man. That Reece was someone who would fit with my life.
-THE AFTERNOON-
We spent the afternoon with my second brother and his girlfriend. We went to the zoo. It was brilliant. The animals where amazing, cool, creepy, fantastic, shocking.
The zoo had polar bears. Actual fucking polar bears. We could have stayed at the polar bears for days. They where so interesting.
It was so much fun. We learnt so much as well as feeling like children again.
-THAT NIGHT-
Reece and I gate crashed my old theatre companies rehearsal. It was great to see everyone again. They where all so talented I missed being apart of it and being on stage with them. Reece made some new friends. They seemed to like him. Even though he could be an arrogant, big headed, self centred but that was Reece's charm. I think that they could all see what I could. His soul underneath that he was also humble, loving, charing, smart, funny.
We got in the car. As we drove years and years of memories flooded in. All the good times. The laugh. The shows. When we stopped Reece looked at me. He seemed upset.
"You miss them don't you?"
I tried to hide it but he could read me like a book. He knew me like the back of his hand.
"Yes but life moves on and they're passed me. They are better off without me."
He frowned.
"Don't say that. They are not at all passed you or are they better off without you. Things have just changed a little bit. They where so happy to have you back. They are so proud of you. They also miss you."
He really was trying. It made me love him more.
"It makes me want to go back."
He gave me a weak smile then said " Sometimes, You can't go back."
"I know. I know." I really did.
"But you can visit."
"Yes. you can visit." I gave him a weak smile.
"Beautiful they love you. You love them. I know it's hard and you feel like you miss out but that's what makes the memories and days like this even more important."
He had made things a little better.
"Thank you Reece. I love you."
He smiled.
"I love you too." He gave me a kiss.
"Come on let's go inside."
We got out and headed in. We ate some food whilst cuddling. Reece talked to me about the rehearsal and group.
