I was completely high. I needed sleep. I kept rambling on until Reece told me to be quiet for a couple of seconds and close my eyes not in a mean way. It worked. It got me to have some sleep.
-AN HOUR LATER-
"Beautiful wake up."
I slowly opened my eyes. The light hit my eyes harshly.
"Are you ok?" Reece asked worriedly.
I cleared my throat. it felt so dry.
"Yes."
I shuffled up so I was sat. I reached for some water it was empty.
"I'll go and get you some water."
He left the room. I pulled the babies close to me and watched them see. It was like they knew I was watching. They both started to cry.
I some how managed to shuffle them both onto my lap. I managed to feed them after trying to get them to latch for ages. Reece returned with a sip all of ice cubs.
He saw what was going on and poured a couple of ice cubs into my mouth. The babies fed for a long time and Reece continued to pour ice into my mouth. It was weird but feeding the babies made me feel closer to them. After a while they fell asleep. I could not help but watch them sleep. They looked so peaceful. Their little snores broke my heart. I did not watch long as I soon fell asleep myself again.
-LATER-
The cries of the babies woke me. They of cause wanted another feed. So that is what they got. They where eating machines.
"Are you ok beautiful?" asked Reece.
"Yes. Is there any food?"
"I think there might be some snacks."
"oooo"
Reece rummaged in one of the bags then pulled out some food.
"So we have some carrot, cucumber, pepper and hummus."
"YAS !"
Reece chuckled and brought them over. He cracked them open and started dipping them. He gave me some and some to himself.
I chuckled to myself.
"What!?" asked Reece.
"It's like a family date."
He laughed.
"Yeah it is... thought you don't normally have your boobs out."
"Reeson!" I scolded.
He giggled like a little boy.
We had to stay in hospital for another three days. It would be four days in total. This is because of the babies being premature and having a c-section.
Reece stayed with us luckily we had been warned this might happen. Our parents came to meet their grandchildren. That was an emotional day.
