Emma looked in the mirror, taking a deep breathe. Her hair was done in a braid and she had a little make up on, something she didn't usually do. She wore a red and black high waisted skirt with a black long sleeved shirt. "This is going to be good" she smiled at herself in the mirror, trying to get rid of the nerves that made her feel like she could throw up any minute. She didn't want to mess up her first date with Stiles because there was no denying that she liked him... a lot. She laid on her bed, her head spinning with nerves as they played out all the possible scenarios. She was liking him more and more: some would even say falling in love. She didn't want to mess up her date.

Her, Lydia and Allison were now also best friends, closer then most people. Emma and Scott were now best friends to. Emma was finally settling into her life in Beacon Hills and honestly, she loved it. Emma looked at her buzzing phone as she got a text from Lydia.

'I still can't believe you are going to this party with that loser'  Lydia wrote Emma read the text message and rolled her eyes.

'If you don't stop calling him that I might have to reconsider this friendship'  Emma joked, a little annoyed that she was treating Stiles like that. Stiles liked Emma and Emma liked him. He was kind, caring, smart and hilarious. How much of that was true about Jackson?

'Fine. Obvi you like him so Ill lay off. But when you get bored just ask'  Lydia responded and Emma clicked her phone off with an annoyed huff. Emma looked out the window as lights flashed in her room, spotting Stiles' jeep pulling into her drive way. Emma grabbed her phone and ran downstairs, butterflies dancing in her stomach.

"Bye Aunt Karen! I'm going to the party!" Emma yelled up the stairs, letting her know where she was going so she wouldn't wake up from her hangover and panic because Emma was missing.

"Have fun" her Aunt yelled back, allowing Emma to shut the door behind her, entering the night. Emma jogged outside to Stiles's jeep, meeting him half way there.

"Hey I was gonna come get you" Stiles greeted her. "Thought I'd meet your folks" he added, Emma freezing, her muscles tensing, Stiles realizing the word's effect.

"My Aunt" she corrected him quietly. "I live with my aunt" she repeated before getting into the car. Stiles realizing she didn't want to talk about it, got in the car to and dropped the topic, figuring she would open up about it in time.

"You look amazing" Stiles complimenting, Emma blushing immediately. Stiles always thought that she looked beautiful but he could see the extra effort she put into her appearance tonight. "So you ready for the party?" Stiles asked as the drove down the street.

"Ready to hang out with you, yes. Ready for the party? Not so much" Emma replied, offering a smile.

"What you don't like parties?" Stiles asked, glancing over at where she sat, fiddling with a string on her skirt.

"Eh I haven't been to many but no not really" Emma shrugged, smiling over to him to show that she was still happy to be going out with him.

"Wish you would've told me that. I hate parties to" Stiles smiled, earning a sigh of relief from Emma. "We'll do something more fun next date- erm hangout" Stiles stumbled on his words, glancing awkwardly over at her.

"Next date" Emma confirmed. Stiles looked at her and smiled. It was official. She liked him to. Emma took a CD out of her purse, holding it out so it gleamed in the moon light. "Mind if I play this?" she asked.

"No go ahead" Stiles replied. Emma slide in the CD, turning the volume up as the music began to play through the jeep. Stiles could practically see her relax as she listened to the music flooding in.
