Stiles let out a little cry as he pressed his face against the wolves'. The wolf whimpered as she nuzzled into his neck. 'Im sorry' a voice came into his head, Stiles pulling back in confusion. The wolf stared at him with wide eyes. 'It was another mate power' Emma spoke again, the voice comforting in Stiles' mind.
'I love you' Stiles thought back, the wolf licking his face before jumping onto him as she knocked him to the ground. Stiles burst out laughing as he tried to fight of the lovable wolf, who wouldn't stop licking his face. The rest of the pack slowly walked over to them, their eyes weary of her new shape. Isaac reached out, running his hand over her soft white fur. She grinned at him, a smile growing across Isaac's face as he knew it was Emma.
"So that's Emma?" Sheriff asked, confused at the friendly wolf standing in front of them. Derek looked at Emma in wolf form, his eyes wide in awe.
"Yeah that's her. M-my mother took wolf form too when she was a werewolf. It is the sign of power in werewolves. I guess her power took a different form this time" Derek explained as Stiles pat Emma's head as she whined and curled up in a ball, sitting on Stiles' lap.
"How does she change back?" Stiles asked as she perked up, tilting her head. Her ears twitched as a whine escaped her, desperate to know how to turn back. Stiles looked down at Emma, scratching behind her ears. 'It's okay. It's going to be okay' he thought as Emma nuzzled her head back in his lap. Derek sat down next to them, running his hand over his face.
"It's really up to her. She has to find her anchor. She has to let her self change back" Derek tried to explain, Stiles nodding in understanding. "The shift can also be controlled by emotion. But for now let's just focus on changing back" Derek added with a sheepish grin, excited to teach her how to shift.
"Okay. Emma find your anchor" Stiles instructed, taking a deep breath as he hoped she would follow by example. The wolf closed her eyes as she thought. "Now breathe. Breathe. Just breathe" Stiles soothed. The wolf began to cry as she curled up in a ball, shedding her fur and returning to her human self.
She sat up, rubbing her eyes as she looked around in confusion. Stiles lurched forward, pulling her into a hug as he grinned. She laughed, a tear of relief slipping down her cheek. "You did it" he whispered as he pet her hair. "What was your anchor?" Stiles asked pulling away, taking in her face.
"You" she whispered, Stiles smile growing wider. "I love you" she whispered as Stiles leaned forward, planting his lips on hers. He felt her smile against his mouth, his heart fluttering in his chest.
"Alright you two, get a room" Lydia finally interrupted, Emma blushing as they broke apart. Stiles got to his feet, helping her up before wrapping an arm around her shoulders.
"Can we go home now?" Emma asked, exhausted. Everyone let out a little chuckle, numerous nods of agreement being shown. Derek shifted awkwardly, a smile growing on Emma's face as it was obvious he wanted to speak. Emma waved her hand, prompting him to speak.
"I uh restored the Hale House. It's much bigger now and I was thinking that uh-maybe the whole pack should move in" Derek explained, scuffing his boot on the ground as a blush rosh on his cheeks. Emma smiled, nodding.
"I've got no where else to go" Emma grinned, Isaac nodding in agreement as he walked over next to Derek.
Lydia was next to join them muttering, "my parents won't even notice I'm gone". Stiles and Scott were the only one's who hesitated, their eyes lingering on their parents.
"This is actually perfect timing. Melissa and I wanted to tell you and Scott that we're moving in together. We were going to get a smaller house though so I think it would actually be good for you and Scott to move in with the pack. It's not like we're going anywhere" Mr. Stilinski grinned as Scott and Stiles turned to Derek.
