Stiles eyes fluttered open, wincing as the light from his window shone in his eyes. He sat up and quickly grabbed his phone, opening his messages. 'Anything yet?' he texted Derek. It had been two days since Emma had been bitten and she still hadn't woken up or moved a muscle. Stiles had been having trouble focusing, more than usual, due to the worrying. He needed her to wake up soon.
'Nothing. I told you when something happens I'll call you. Now go to school' Derek responded, Stiles groaning as he threw his phone to the ground. He could not take Derek's attitude: not now. Stiles sighed as he got up, trudging to his dresser. He threw on the first things in his drawer which ended up being a blue and black flannel, a white tee shirt and black jeans. He grabbed his backpack, jogged down stairs past the kitchen.
"Good morning" his father greeted him, looking up from the news paper. "Want some breakfast?" he asked, noticing a recent change in his son.
"Nope" Stiles passed him quickly, walking out to his jeep. He wanted to get this day over with and visit Emma. No time for breakfast or small talk.

Derek sat on the couch away from Emma, rubbing his head. The longer Emma slept the more worried he became. He didn't know why he was so fond of this girl. Perhaps it was due to her new pack status, or perhaps it was the way she saved his life, but he needed her to wake up. The worried texts from Stiles weren't helping.
"I'm going to school!" Isaac called walking out of his room and into the main part of the loft. Derek didn't acknowledge him, still lost in thought. Isaac paused behind Derek. "Hey she's going to be okay. You said it yourself" Isaac patted Derek's shoulder. Derek flinched at the sign of physical contact, not used to it. Derek nodded, allowing Isaac to finally leave, now knowing that Derek was okay.
But what he had really done was left Derek alone with Emma and his worried. The Kanima was dangerous and strong. Not to mention it was being controlled by someone. Derek lifted his head when he heard a murmur coming from Emma. He walked over and sat at the edge of the bed, his eyes searching her for signs of her waking up.
"Emma?" Derek asked softly. No response. Derek reached out and placed his hand on hers, trying to wake her up. Emma sprung up, her eyes wide open and glowing green, Derek jumping back. She looked around panicked, struggling to breathe. Emma clenched her eyes shut as her hands turned into fists.
"Make it stop!" Emma screamed in pain, opening her eyes again, only to have them still be green. Derek stared at her in shock, unsure of what to do or what was happening.
"What's happening?" he asked nervously, Emma screaming again. She struggled to breathe and had a thin layer of sweat developing on her forehead.
"I'm seeing things!" she cried. "Pictures! Memories! I don't know!" Emma cried, her hands wrenched around the sheets. "They're not mine" Emma gasped. Derek was put back, even more unsure of what was happening then before. Emma's eyes continued to move back and forth, as if studying what she was seeing.
"What are they?" Derek asked putting his hands on her shoulders as he decided she wasn't dangerous or at least, not to him.
"I-I see a fire, people burning and screaming. I see were wolves and a girl a dying girl with black blood all over her" Emma clenched her eyes shut again, groaning. "And a woman and a teenager. I see New York. I see-" Her voice cut off as Emma opened her eyes. She went quiet and left her eyes open, as if accepting the memories. Then her eyes faded back to brown as Emma panted "What the hell was that?" Emma croaked, turning nervously to Derek.
"My memories" Derek whispered in shock. Emma stared at him with wide eyes. "When I touched your hand, you saw my mind or my memories" Derek was not familiar with what Emma was but she was going to be very useful to the pack.
