Narrator : "Desperate times call for desperate measures! In one of the longest and fiercest battles of the war, separatist forces are on the verge of claiming the planet Malastare. In a final effort to turn the tide of this battle, supreme chancellor palpatine has authorized the use of the Republic's newest weapon: The electro-proton bomb. Now at the imperial palace of doge urus, the ader of the dugs, the jedi count down the minutes until the detonation of their doomsday device"

"If this actually works, then you owe me five gallons of bantha milk."

"Make it six."

"Hardcase, Kyle, focus."

"Yes sir, sorry sir."

Dakota tore her eyes away from her binoculars, the conversation between Hardcase and Kyle proving to be a bit of a distraction. It was difficult to hide the amusement that flitted between her irises, especially at the prospect of bantha milk which she does enjoy.

She smirked to herself, returning her eyes to the binoculars "Besides, five isn't a good bet. Go with seven. Then give me a gallon."

"Generals orders" Kyle nudged Hardcase.

"I'm losing my mind." Rex complained under his breath, stepping closer to the General to distance himself from the camaraderie. She felt his presence, remaining still as she scanned the impending stamped of separatist.

The small team, three 501st clones and a Jedi, were positioned behind a large, oddly formed rock on the east side of the rocky battle field, ahead of the citadel headquarters operated by the Dugs.

They used the rock as cover from the droids, and to have a vantage point against the opposition. The battle on Malastare hadn't commenced yet, but the droids were on their way. It was an entire army of them; thousands upon thousands. Of all makes and models.

"Where's your sense of humor, Captain?" Dakota raised an eyebrow behind her specs. "You're beginning to sound like me."

"I'll lighten up." He concurred. She snorted softly. Rex adjusted his position and stole a look over the top of the rock.

Dakota zoomed in with the binoculars, locating the first row of spider droids that clanked towards them. At that, she held the comm link on her wrist up to her chin. "Aright men, remember that this isn't a battle. It's a test. We just need to hold them off until the bomb drops."
