"This is Jedi Master Dakota Ky. We are approaching your village as scheduled, please respond."

"..."

"Is anyone there?"

"..."

At the radio silence, she sat back in the chair, running her fingers through her dark hair.

"They haven't responded since we started contacting." Ahsoka thought out loud to herself, eyeing the green and blue streaked planet dotted with white clouds that drew closer by the second. "What if something is wrong?"

"I think we're past if, girl." Dakota stood up, placing her hand on the back of the pilot chair that Rex sat in. "Take us in slow, Captain, and dock out of sight from the village."

"Understood."

"You think the villagers are up to something?" Ahsoka turned her head to watch as the Jedi Master headed towards the cockpit doors.

"I don't know." She opened the sliding doors. "But something's not right— turn off our tracking beacon." She added. Rex leaned forward, turning the knob which cloaked their approach.

Dakota emerged from the cockpit, making her way to the exit hatch where the rest of the small clone crew was held up. They sat together and chatted warmly, cleaning their weapons since there was nothing else to do on the dull vessel.

Echo was scrubbing the inside of his blasters barrel, careful not to accidentally set it off like he did last time, and nearly took off Kix's left ear during the process. Dakota climbed down the metal latter, her footsteps being heard by the group. Fives noticed her approaching first, and cleared his throat, motioning for the troopers to look alive.

"Any luck at getting in contact with the civilians, General?" Fives asked, setting his gun down beside him on the crate.

She shook her head, stepping down from the last bar of the latter. "We're proceeding with caution."

"And here I thought this would be a simple oil agreement." Jesse leaned forward, resting his elbows on his thighs. Kix nodded his head, agreeing with his brother.

"Let's hope it still is." Dakota flicked some hair away from in front of her eyes.

"Never a dull moment in the 501st." Echo reminded the group cheerfully.

Hardcase chuckled, preparing his rotary blaster cannon as if he was going out to fight in that exact moment. "That's why I love it"
