Obi-Wan bowed respectfully to the remaining Jedi Masters in the council room. They were at the conclusion of an excruciatingly long meeting about the recent advances in Separatist attacks. Trades routes were being targeted, cutting off aid to desperate Republic provinces.

He had stayed behind a few minutes more with Master Yoda and Windu to discuss some new potential strategies. Once the discussion was concluded, he left.

The doors slid open and he emerged into the brightly lit temple hallway. Being on the second floor, he looked out across open space and spotted Dakota waiting for him in the shadows of a tall column.

She stood with her arms crossed and eyes concentrated on the floor, as if inspecting it. He knew she was simply thinking, contemplating, although her countenance gave the appearance that she was frustrated.

Her black hair was woven into a braid, tucked neatly and void of any loose strands. The dark tunic she wore was altered, with the changes reflecting the transition from the cool season to the warmed season. Her attire was still long-sleeved with blackened, clone armor shoulders, but the material was less dense and exposed her midriff just above the silver piercing of her bellybutton.

"A certain Mandalorian duchess sends her hugs and kisses through the mail." She enlightened him, her nose ring catching in the warm light.

He tensed, cutting a quick glance around, but relaxed once he realized it was just them in the long hall. "Give her my most humble, respectful regards." He replied, coming forward.

"Again, none for me." She complained sarcastically. "What am I, bantha slop?"

"I hate to break it to you, friend. The galaxy doesn't revolve around you."

"Ain't it terrible?" She leaned back against the column.

He chucked, pausing in front of her. "Expect to be sent out on a mission soon," He informed, switching lanes in the conversation.

A small collection of Jedi Knights passed by. He nodded in a friendly greeting, waiting for them to pass. She pushed off against the wall, ignoring them.

"Looking forward to it," She came to his side. Together, they began down the long hall with no real destination in mind. "Hopefully somewhere invigorating. I could use a field battle, or a covert operation."

"I would prefer peace."

She scoffed, crossing her arms. "I think we all would."

They turned a corner, approaching the grand staircases that wove down to the library. "Anakin just returned from the outer rim, Ahsoka as well."
