Dakota Ky comes across as cold. You're either afraid of her or enamored with her. Her eyes are sharp and focused, intimidating. Very few know what has made her this way. Her presence is silent, yet unavoidable.
No one truly knows her, but the people who try to see that her hard exterior doesn't define who she is at her core. There's a lot more to her than she shows up front.
Dakota is compassionate. She cares for the clones serving under her, and her role as General takes precedent over all else. To her friends, she would give an arm and a leg.
However, in this war, her compassion for others just might be her downfall. The presence of evil and corruption grows strong in the Republic. Emotions can deceive even the strongest minds. She must face her demons and troubled past head on in order to save the future for the people she cares about most.
Brief Summary
She is Co-General of the 501st Legion, commanding with Anakin Skywalker. He is a brother to her, and she treats him as such. Ahsoka even more so. The clones of their battalion have nothing but respect for both of their Generals. Dakota goes out of her way for them— viewing them as men rather than clones bred in a laboratory.
Her oldest friend in the Order is Obi-Wan Kenobi. They've known each other since they were Padawans. The two couldn't be more different, but learned that they work together well. There's a deep, unbreakable connection and friendship between them.
Mace Windu was the one to find her and bring her to the temple, assuming the role as her master. He is disciplined— a stoic example of what a Jedi should be, and a steady hand in her life.
Another important partnership is with Captain Rex. He's the clone captain of the 501st. He spends most of his time with the Jedi Generals during battle operations. He's loyal, brave, daring—traits that Dakota quietly admires.
There are other allies that Dakota has made over the years. Unlikely ones, such Hondo Ohnaka, Satine Kryze, Asajj Ventress, even Cad Bane as times.
