Part 7 ~ Jotunheim

Y/n ~

We all woke up early the next day and headed down to the dinning hall for breakfast. After we finished, we were all given light packs with sleeping gear and food to carry on our backs. Our horses also carried packs for extra supplies and weapons.

We all headed over the rainbow bridge to the bifrost.

Heimdall was waiting for us at the entrance.

"Your majesty, is everyone ready to go?" He asked.

"Yes. Now take us to Jotunheim!" He bellowed and we were swept away in bright colors

When the light went away, we were on a forest floor, green all around us. 

"We will set up camp here, tomorrow we see the king." Odin said getting off his horse.

We set up the tents and fed the horses. We weren't allowed to build a fire so we pulled out heavy robes and put them on.

I sat on a log polishing the small silver dagger Frigga gave me when I was young.

I felt someone site next to me and I turned around to see Loki beside me with some dried pork.

"Want some?" He offered holding it out.

I smiled, "sure, thanks."

"Yeah." 

"Fandral and Sif have the first watch, Loki and y/n second, and Thor and Volstagg third." Odin said.

We nodded our heads and continued whatever we were doing.

When nightfall came, we rolled out our mats and laid down to rest, I was next to Sif and Hogun.

I fell asleep almost immediately. 

Loki ~

Y/n was across the tent fast asleep. I couldn't sleep so I got up and went to tend to my horse. Me and Y/n's horses were twins, I used to hate it because I used to hate Y/n and whenever were would go riding, our horses always wanted to stay close. My horse was all black with white on her back left ankle. Y/n's horse was a deep chestnut color and she had a white diamond on her forehead.

The two horses were right next to each other. As always. They never wanted to be apart. 

As I brushed my horse's hair, I looked up into the sky, since there were no city lights, you could see everything. It was beautiful.

About two and a half hours later, I went to wake y/n up.

"Hey, it's our watch."

She nodded her head and got up.

"Wow..." She said as we stepped out of the tent.

"I know." I replied.

We sat down on the ground right outside in silence.

"I wonder how long we'll be here." Y/n says placing her dagger next to her.

"I'm not sure. I hope it's not long."

Y/n held her hand up and made small sparks dance around her fingers.

Her magic was much stronger than my mine. Y/n was very talented. She could pick up anything and learn how to use it in a day.

She was also very musical. She could play the piano and sing very well, she would sing for mother all the time and play at parties.

I hope we all live to get to hear her again after this is all over.
