Part 13 ~ The battle and the end

I woke up the next morning to a dusty bright light from the window, and my memory came back to me, the battle is today. 

I shook Loki's shoulder and he stirred nuzzling further into me and grumbled.

"No... I like it here, I don't want to get up."

I smiled and shook my head.

"But you must, were going to Asgard today."

He tensed a little bit before looking at me through the blanket.

"Okay."

We got up and went to go and get dressed, I opened the small chest to find my armor and helmet. My weapons laid on top of the chest.

It didn't take long for us to get ready, and once we were, we left to got to the throne room.

"Ah, there you two are, we leave in twenty minutes." The king said as we entered.

I nodded my head.

We then left to go to the war ship. The King, Loki, and I all went to the control area of the ship and prepared for the journey.

About ten minutes after, the warriors all filed in. They all had newly made weapons and armor that glinted in the light.

"Leaving in ten seconds," a mechanical female voice of the ship rang out for everyone to hear.

The ship rumbled as the engines turned on and started to work.

Then the large metal doors opened and we shot into the sky, going faster than any ship I had ever been in. The stars looked like white streaks as we traveled and I felt as light as air.

"We arrive in five minutes." The ships voice said again.

"Wow that was fast," Loki said looking at the king.

"Yes, before Svartalfheim was destroyed, we were the fastest technology building realm there was." He smirked sounding very proud.

"What's the plan for when we get there?" I asked.

"I will send out two troops to the city, and the rest including us will go to the palace right away, I'm ready to see Odin's blood on my hands." He said looking away and folding his hands together.

I nodded my head.

"We, have arrived," The ship said and the ground shook slightly underneath us telling us we've landed.

The King barked out his orders and chaos came next, Two of the troops left leaving one group to come with us to the palace.

When I stepped out of the ship, all I could hear was the screams and cries of the poor Asgardians. Houses were lit in fire and people running around crazy.

It took about ten minutes to reach the castle because we had no horses and when we did, Odin, Frigga, and everyone else was outside waiting for us.

"Loki, let's change into our true forms," I smirked at him and he grinned back.

As we shifted I saw the look of horror in Odin's eyes.

"I can't believe this, why have you come back?" He said unsheathing his heavy golden sword.

"Revenge," Was all me and Loki said before lunging toward them.

Metal against metal was all that came next, I lunged at Volstagg and Loki to Thor.

"Y/n, why are you doing this? We only wanted peace between the realms."

"And giving us away like Christmas presents was a good idea?" I said furious and swung at his arm grazing his shoulder, he gasped and stumbled back slightly, then I used my illusions to copy myself and slipped behind him. I slammed my staff on the top of his head and knocked him out.
