Loki ~
We had been staying in the palace for about a week now, training the elves and getting ready to march to Asgard. The king called me and y/n to the throne room.
When we entered, he was by the table again looking out the window.
"You called for us?" Y/n said when we reached the table.
The man turned around, "yes, I need you two to go to the caves and get the war ship ready. We will use that to get to Asgard."
Y/n nodded her head.
"Let's go," I said turning around and walking away, y/n followed after.
It took about five minutes to get to the cave since there was an opening in the palace.
The war ship was huge, it could easily fit all of the warriors in it.
As me and y/n stocked the medical supplies we talked.
"If we win we could rule Asgard together," I started and she looked at me, a small smile on her face.
"Yeah..."
Y/n got up to stock the other shelves across the room.
"Gosh I hate this job," I heard y/n sigh and I turned around and chuckled.
"Why? Might I ask."
She shrugged, "Just boring." She didn't move her lips when she spoke and it surprised me.
"You figured it out?" I asked, astonished. We tried to figure out telepathy for years and eventually gave up since we couldn't do it.
"Yeah, one of the elves taught me, it's way more simple than we thought it was, I picked it up almost immediately, I bet you could too." She said walking over to me.
"Okay then, show me."
She sat down on the metal floor and I followed facing her.
"The first thing you need to do is relax and clear your mind, it makes it easier when you're learning."
I nodded my head and relaxed.
"Close your eyes and think about the energy of your magic, feel the buzz of that energy and focus on it."
As I relaxed I felt the slight buzz in my ears she was talking about.
"Now, think about having a regular conversation, think about saying hello or greeting yourself to me."
Again, I nodded my head and thought about how I normally greet myself to her.
"Hello, love." I thought and opened my eyes to see her smiling.
"Hello." I heard her soft voice in my head.
"You did it!" She said excited and jumping up.
I smiled, "I did."
We stocked for a little while longer and did a check over the entire ship to make sure it was in perfect condition before we went back to the king, the only thing that we needed to do was fill the fuel tanks but that wasn't a huge problem since there were already sources in the caves.
~
After we spoke to the king, me and y/n went to my room.
"I'm getting tired," y/n yawned and stretched her arms forward.
"You should go to sleep then my love." I said wrapping an arm around her waist and setting my forehead on hers.
She smiled and snapped her fingers changing us into simple sleepwear.
I rolled my eyes ans snapped my fingers, turning her outfit into a dark green night gown with black lace.
"Much better,"
She giggled and placed her hands on my neck.
"I really hope we win this, I want to rule Asgard with you." She said a very light hint of anger in her words but a small smile on her lips.
"Me too." I leaned in and kissed her reaching a hand lower to the small of her back and placing the other in her beautiful h/c hair.
She let her hands run all along me, my hair, arms, torso.
Not breaking our kiss, I laid her down on the bed.
"It's crazy thinking we used to hate each other," she breathes and I moved to kiss her neck.
I smiled, "I know."
Then, she started to tremble slightly and I looked back up to her to see she was starting to cry.
"Oh darling, what happened, did I do something wrong?" I asked getting very concerned.
She looked at me, "I just can't stop thinking, were going to have to kill our friends, what about Frigga?" She started sobbing.
I wrapped my arms tightly around her, "Oh love, I don't know."
Sif ~
It has been weeks since we gave Loki and y/n over to the king of Svartalfheim. The palace is quiet without their bickering or pranks. I'm not angry at Odin, but I am very deeply heartbroken that we had to leave them there. It was the only way to keep the peace within the two realms.
I spent countless hours in the library and gardens isolating myself from the others, even Thor. We haven't spoken since that day, sometimes he'll steal a glance in the dining hall but that's all that happens.
~
I walked into Loki's room and found a box under his bed. I took the small box out and opened it to find lots of letters, all addressed to y/n. The letters ranged from when we were young up until now. All of them talking about his love for her. It confused me because I thought he hated her growing up. I put the letters back and walked into y/n's room, very similar looking to Loki's with the emerald green, and black and gold. Something glinted in the corner of my eye and I looked over towards it. Y/n's helmet. Frigga had given both Loki and y/n similar helmets, y/n's horns were just slightly shorter and a little more curled upward. I then reached out to pick it up when I heard a familiar voice.
"Lady, Sif?" Thor said sounding confused.
I dropped the beautiful golden helmet as I heard his voice and the clang of the metal on the marble floor rang out.
"Thor.." Is all I could manage to say as I scrambled to pick up the helmet and set it back on its stand.
"You miss them don't you." He said once I finished.
I dropped my head, "of course I do, they were my friends."
He put his hand on my shoulder, "as do I, I cannot believe we had to leave them there, but it was our only way of keeping the peace between us.
I nodded my head.
"I wonder if we'll ever see them again."
