Dear Journal,

The plane trip seemed very brief considering the lengthy flight. I imagine it was because I slept so much because I really didn't know what to do with myself. The announcments came on for us to buckle our seatbelts for landing so I knew th time was close. Once landed people rised up quickly and began to shuffle out the plane door. I sat and waited refusing to get caught up in the madness and was the last one out.

My flight landed a bit early but I saw Charlie there waiting for me with a half smile on his face. He was as I remembered, brown curly like hair, same chocolate brown eyes as me,a mustache, about 6'0 and average build. He raised his hand to wave me his way quickly.

I gave him a big smile as I trudged his way.

"Bells!"he exclaimed loudly, over here!"

"Hey Dad I replied, how are you?" I relplied and gave him a quick hug.

I'm great honey, just glad you landed safely" he retorted.

"Yup I'm fine, couldn't be better" I assured him.

"Well, lets go get yor bags downstairs then" he said.

"Oh no Dad, I only have this one carry on. I didn't have very many winter clothes you know."

"Oh well you'll have to do some shopping when we get there," he then replied.

"Gee Dad are you trying to torture me already," I teased as I pointed at him.

"Oh right I forgot well let me know if you need some ok?"

"Deal," I eagerly replied wanting to change the subject.

The walk to the car was quiet as we made me way throught the airport.

We walked past the airport mall where Charlie grabbed a soda and purchased me a coke. We soon made it outside and I grabbed my jacket out of my bag quickly and through it on. The climate change was amazing.

Charlie took off to get the car while I waited for him by the sliding doors.

Of course I mumbled to myself, the police cruiser. It was your basic police car, black and white stripped with a red and blue color light attached to the roof that flashed wildly when you turned it on. It was pretty embarassing for me to ride in it I admit but I made the best of it.

It took about an hour to get to Forks and all I could say when we arrived was it was too green. Trees as far as the eyes can see sparaticly placed in thick forests. It seemed as though we only passed two street lights, one general store, and a restaurant and in no time we were at Charlie's.

The house too was just as I remembered. It was our old white house which looked weathered but still quite charming. I could see on the second story a window in the middle of the house, that was my old and probally new bedroom. It has a gravel drive way that leads up to the house and two green bushes on either side of it's black door. On it's left side there is a dirt pathway that lead into a lustrous forest. I missed this house and though it was Dads it reminded me alot of Mom. She picked it out and thought it was perfect for us and loved it as much as Charlie did. In the driveway an old, red, rusty truck was parked, which was odd to me.

Well, I need to get going and get settled in Charlies place. I will write you back tonight.
