Dear Journal,
Everything happened so fast after that. Jake flew up from the couch with Reneesme in his hands, he then placed her safely in Rosalies' arms and she headed upstairs. Edward grabbed my hand, pulled me behind him and hissed loudly as he crouched to the floor. Emmett and Jasper came running from the basement, moving swiftly but determined. Alice came running as well but Jasper motioned her to go upstairs until all was figured out. Carlisle stood crouched by Jasper with Esme at his side dry sobbing into a tissue. All these actions took place at once and happened within 2 seconds.
Jake was the one who opened the door to find Seth like that and he immediatley transformed into wolf form and darted into the woods.
"Seth! Seth! Please try to transform into your human form so Carlisle can take a look at you," Edward shouted.
Slowly and almost magic like he started to transform into his 15 year old self. Esme grabbed a blanket to put over his body and Emmett and Jasper carried him into the living room and gently placed him on the couch.
"Seth, whhh what happened to you," I stuttered out and Edward gently placed his hand on top of mine and rubbed my hand with his thumb.
"I'm not to sure, he stammered out. "I was attacked by a a vampire I think. I mean he looked human but he had crimson red eyes and was very strong."
We all looked at ourselves in horror.
"What did he look like?", Emmett boomed in his deep voice.
" I can't remember all of the details," he sighed.
"It's ok, Carlisle chimed in, "let me take a look at you and let you rest up."
"Thanks doc," he muttered out.
Carlisle examined him for what seemed like an eternity as Rosalie, Alice and Reneesme came back down the stairs cautiously. Just then Jake stammered through the door and fell to his knees beside Seth. He looked up at me with bloodshot eyes that looked like he'd been crying for a while. I looked at him sympathetically and nervously bit my lip. Carlisle caught him up on what happened and what Seth appeared to see. All Jake could do was look down at the ground with his head hung low. Seth was like a brother to him now. Leah was out of town looking at schools and Jake didn't want to upset her so he didn't call to her. She was trying to do something with her life that was outside of the pack and he didn't want to upset her because she'd never leave Forks then. Carlisle saw a couple broken ribs and a fractured shoulder blade but said he should be fine within a few days. The looks of relief shone on all of our faces.
The only conclusions we could come up with was it had to be someone sent by the Volturi. I think they were threatened by the wolves and tried to send someone out here to hurt them or possibly kill them.
I was in my own little world staring out the window wondering what could possibly happen next when Edward appeared to behind my right shoulder holding Reneesme.
"Please don't worry love, he consoled, I will never let anything happene to you or our beautiful daughter."
I nodded and Reneesme held her hands out for me and nestled her head onto my shoulder. I sobbed out dry tears as I held her close and Edward held me.
