Mei could finally hear someone say something, but it sounds distant and muffled. Her stomach flips. What if they're here to hurt me? What if they take a picture and post it? Please stop. I didn't ask for this life. I JUST WANT TO LIVE NORMALLY.

"Don't worry, I'm here to help you Mei. I'm sorry about before. It's going to be okay."

Mei slowly looked up. She wasn't able to make out the figure. It was blurry. Mei gagged at the calloused hand that was tugging on her chin. Her body shook uncontrollably. Mei felt the hands gently rest on her shoulders but she shrugged them off.

Mei's hearing was the first to return, then her eye sight follows. She was still shaking as she pushed back onto her knees. A familiar spiky haired male sat quietly squatting next to her. His breath forming white clouds in the freezing air.

"Iwaizumi..? Is that you?" Mei croaked.

Iwaizumi nodded and moved a few inches close to her. He didn't say anything. She looked up to see Oikawa standing there too. He was shocked. Oikawa sat on the other side of Mei. He didn't say anything either to Mei, but he handed her his scarf. He wrapped it around her and pulled her into his chest.

Although Oikawa was all sweaty and gross, his warmth made Mei's heart slow down. She was able to breath properly again.

They sat like that for awhile. Passersby glanced at the trio in confusion and whispered. Nobody recognized Mei and Oikawa because of their coats.

Mei wasn't sure about how much time has passed, but eventually her driver pulled up to the curb. Mei got up and grabbed her bag.

"Thank you guys. I appreciate it a lot," She said. She gave them a bow and entered the car. The driver pulled away.

They both watched the car roll away. Oikawa got up and stretched his legs. "I've never seen Mei like that before. What was that?" He asked.

Iwaizumi got up after and grabbed his bag. He threw it over his shoulder and shrugged. "I'm not too sure actually. I've seen her turn like this a few times. I think Hana-san knows. When I asked her, she always told me it was nothing and not to tell anyone."

Oikawa grabbed Iwaizumi by the collar and shoved him against the wall. "What the hell? Whatever that was, it was not normal. You never once thought of telling anyone?" He shouted.

Iwaizumi pulled Oikawa's hand off. "You don't seem to realize how popular she's been getting. She's starting to recognized more and more. If something like this got out, it could really mess her up more. The best we can do is be there for her. Aren't you her girlfriend anyway? Go take care of her."

"She's not my girlfriend. This is for publicity for our photo collection. It's coming out on Christmas," Oikawa explained.

Iwaizumi was silent for a moment. He grabbed his bag. "I see. We should get going. We have our game on Monday and exams to study for," He said.

Mei silently slipped into the mansion and took off her shoes. Her eyes darted around to see if her mom was home yet. There was no sign of her. She let out a sigh of relief.

Mei ran quickly up the stairs to your room. She grabbed your school bag and opened it. Going through the contents, she grabbed her math textbook and pretended to be indulged in today's homework of math equations you needed to solve to study for your math exam.
