they had to fake that things were the same, otherwise everything would fall apart. friendships would be torn up, sides would be taken. it was easier to pretend that nothing had happened. jamie hadn't told teddy he loved him. teddy hadn't lied to him and said that he felt nothing. and they certainly had never slept together.
