Chara drew 5 red lines in the air and send them to Herb.
He summoned a shield and blocked it all.
-You're weak you know. - Herb didn't care.

Chara ignored him. She focused to stay determined and kill this human.
-I'm determined. If by any chance you don't know. DETERMINATION is the strongest SOUL trait. - Chara stayed determined.
Herb summoned a sword. He drew dark purple lines in the air and send them to Chara.
-I can mirror your attacks. Hehehe - Herb laughed.
Chara got honestly scared of him. But she had to stay determined. For Frisk. Her mind flooded with positive memories of them. Her eyes shined bright red.

-Interesting. But pointless you know. I've got a surprise for you.
Herb opened a black box with orange letters.

Chara ran to Herb at lighting speed and struck him.

Herb got angry. It was time for him to show his real side.
-Prepare to feel something PAINful. - Herb scared Chara.
Herb smiled. He swallowed the HATE vial. His body was all dark. Only his soul vessel, gave a bleak sign of existence by beating.
-LET'S SEE HOW LONG YOU'LL SURVIVE! - Violence was excited.
Herb summoned millions of spears and send them towards the red soul.
Chara summoned the shield but it got violently pierced throught

Herb was doing something in FILE 0.
This is the best chance I have! - Chara thought.
Suddenly, as she approached Herb and tried to touch the box, it changed to FILE 9.
They were now in a dark hellish landscape. Violence smiled.
-You recognize this place don't you? You were here a million times, RESETing, choosing the path you want to take. - Herb knew everything.
Chara attacked him with her sword.

-What?! How!? - Chara couldn't believe, they mustered all their determination to only deal one damage?
-I told you, I'm the absolute God of this world. - Herb grinned.
This time, he raised his hand. Tiny exclamation marks popped everywhere.
-See ya! - Herb smiled again.
Mere seconds after, the whole void went white after coming back to normal.
Charas soul broke into two.
*But it refused.
-Heh, you've got nice moves Herb, but you won't win! - Chara loudly exclaimed.
-It doesn't matter how I win thought. Who said determination cannot be erased in this world? - Herb laughed.
"No..." I won't let him do that" Chara thought.
She ran to him and with all her might striked him right into his soul.

Herb fell to the floor. His soul broke into two.
-No! Impossible! - Herb screamed.
-I told you, you had no chance. - Chara won?
-No chance? - Herb laughed.
*It refused.
Charas face went blank. "HOW?" "HE CAN'T DO THAT!"
-Surprised? Did you really think only you had the power to come back? - Herb chuckled.
Chara was left speechless. But it only strengthened her will to kill him.
-Oh? Is that it? Then let me kill you one million times. You'll quit before you will even know. - Chara laughed.
-Don't get too cocky. - Herbs eye started glowing dark purple.
-I've had enough of this. DIE! - Chara used their whole determination to summon an unstoppable attack.

When the ash settled Herb was nowhere to be seen. She heard a crack a few times and thought It's finally gonna be it.
