The Sins of Fairies (The Seven Deadly Sins x Fairy Tail)

Part 11- Tales of Old and Generations of New

The guildhall was full of noise and alcohol. Everyone was cheering and having fun for the new friendship they made with the Seven Deadly Sins. Meliodas was drinking litres worth of booze next to Makarov and Gildarts, whilst ignoring Natsu next to him constantly yelling 'fight me!'. Ban was sitting on a table in the middle of the guildhall, being admired by many random female guild members and getting hostile stares from the guys, as his attitude and looks slightly reminded everyone of Gajeel, who himself was on the opposite side of the table munching on some silverware.

King, Diane, Merlin and Escanor were socialising with Lucy, Gray, Erza, Wendy, Levy, Jet, Droy, Laxus, the Thunder Legion and the Strauss siblings, as King was showing off Chastiefol with its first form 'Chastiefol', telekinetically twirling it in the air. Leo suddenly appeared out of nowhere (as usual) and started flirting with Diane and Merlin, until he was met with King pointing Chastiefol at his gut and Escanor holding Rhitta above his head, making him flee faster than an elephant from a mouse.

Gowther was having a debate with Happy about fish in the corner, with Carla and Lily joining them. Elizabeth conversed with Juvia as she was stalking her 'beloved' and finding the water mage enjoyable to talk to (surprisingly).

"-And That was the first time I saw my father actually panic, ni shi shi..." Meliodas said, getting a huge amount of laughs from everyone who was listening to the story of how he and Ban managed to escape from the underworld after outwitting the Demon King.

"HAHAHA! Oh wow, hehehe... so your father was the Demon King?" Gildarts asked, unable to hold his remaining laughter.

"Heh, yep. I managed to cut-off his whole arm and he simply panicked just like that. I then returned to my body in the real world, and Ban returned with the others..."

"Incredible!... you're also saying that you battled him for a whole 60 years, and with the aid of Hawk's older brother?" Makarov asked.

"My what?" Hawk asked from a distance, chowing on some scraps giving to him by Kinana.

"Never mind master!" Ban said, drinking his ale like there was no tomorrow, with Juvia staring coldly at him from a distance behind a pillar, with murderous intent written on her face.

"How dare he! He has the gall to almost kill my beloved, now he simply acts like nothing happened?!" She muttered under her breath, breaking a chunk of the wooden pillar with her hand.

"C-Calm down Lady Juvia!" Elizabeth insisted, grabbing her shoulder and turning her around.

"But he hurt my beloved!"

"Yes it may be true that Sir Ban is not the most authoritative of people. But, anything he does is for the people closest to him. He spent the last 20 years wandering the world to find a way to revive the one he loved most, even nearly killing his best friend to do so..." Elizabeth explained, causing Juvia to silently gasp and change to a look of sympathy.

"... I-I'm sorry, I d-didn't know..."

"... Don't worry about it, eventually he managed to do just that. Now she's simply relaxing in the kingdom of Liones, waiting for him." Elizabeth finished with a smile.

With Meliodas, he was now telling them about when he fought Escanor in his 'Assault Mode', giving every important and mind boggling detail in hopes they would follow.

"-I throw Lostvayne at him, which he managed to block easily, then knee him in the hand, forcing him to drop Rhitta and disfiguring his fingers. At some point, my sword got stuck in his waist, but he managed to flick it off, leaving us to brawl hand-to-hand..."

"Wow, so he managed to stand up from even getting a huge stab wound and magic black flames being launched through it?" Gildarts asked, amazed at the Lion Sin of Pride's feats of endurance and stamina.
