Chapter 17- Demon King vs True Grace

"A-A power level... of over 1 million?!" Wendy fearfully yelled, shaking uncontrollably as Zeldris walked towards them in a slow but intimidating manner.

"Hehehehe... HAHAHAHAHA! Yes! You see brother, I am now the Demon King, and I will ensure that your sins will NOT be so easily forgiven!" Zeldris exclaimed, pulling out his sword and holding it between his arms.

"OMINOUS NEBULA!"

Suddenly, a huge vortex of wind began sucking in everyone. Natsu and Gray were trying their best to hold their ground, Lucy was holding onto a tree branch with Wendy and Erza. Hawk's mom managed to keep herself stable by burying her feet into the ground, and even the Seven Deadly Sins were having trouble against this enormous magic force.

"What is this!" Ban yelled, gripping into the soil with his bare fingers.

"It's his most powerful offensive trap magic, 'Ominous Nebula'!" Meliodas shouted.

"Captain is right! 'Ominous Nebula' works so that the user is coated in an invisible barrier that automatically sucks any living creature into it forcefully, whilst the wielder remains stable and untouchable as long as it's active!" Merlin explained, trying to teleport to a safer spot, only to be too occupied by the centripetal force emitted.

"What do we do?!" King asked, encasing himself, Diane and Gowther in 'Pollen Garden' to try and remain stable.

"We need to break through that barrier!" Meliodas declared, leaping straight at Zeldris with Lostvayne in hand, going for a piercing thrust.

When inches away to him, Meliodas came into contact with nothing visible, yet something powerful enough to deny his assault on Zeldris. From it, Meliodas was forced to leap back before he was shredded too little to put together, with his arms suffering a few deep scratches.

"Well, that's didn't do jack sh-!" Natsu began, but was cut-off when he lost his grip and pulled in to the attack.

"NATSU!" Lucy yelled.

Natsu now crashed into the invisible field head-first, creating huge sparks and engulfing his figure. A few seconds were spent listening to the shredding of clothing and roaring of pain from the Fire Dragon Slayer.

As it seemed this was the end for Natsu Dragneel, a huge burst of black flames suddenly appeared from the nebula, destroying the barrier and causing Zeldris to slide away several feet, forced to plunge his sword into the earth to stop his speed and stabilise himself.

With Natsu, his appearance had completely changed from anything anyone had ever seen. He gained great scaly horns on his forehead, and had a truly vicious scowl, with no sign of the carefree mage everyone knew in this person.

"Oh no... he's turned into E.N.D again!" Gray yelled.

"What?!" Diane shouted.

"Natsu was reincarnated as a Demon once as a child, and became the most powerful creation by the Black Mage Zeref!" Erza explained.

"WHAT?!" King yelled in disbelief.

Before more could be said, E.N.D rushed Zeldris, going straight for a punch to the face, which was met with a sword block, as the two engulfed themselves in a struggle of power. With Zeldris now being occupied by Natsu, the 'Ominous Nebula' ceased, allowing everyone to finally relax.

Meliodas, Ban, and Escanor formed a group on Zeldris's left. Gray, Diane, King, Gowther and Merlin came together on his right. While everyone else just spectated from the side of Mama Hawk in the far distance.

"Woah! Natsu's power level just shot up to 220,000! But Zeldris is simply toying with him, cause his power level is increasing by 1,000 per minute!" Hawk told everyone, studying the combat strength of the combatants in the fight now.
