Chapter 25- Memory Maker, Ice Maker & The Undead

(MARGARET TOWN)

The usual peace and tranquility found in Margaret Town was no longer present as of the moment. All around smoke was emitted form the fires burning down all the buildings. Demons roamed freely across the place, devouring people whole. Here it seemed that the Demon variants of Britannia's land had been appearing here as well, with so many following the command of yet another enormous Dragon that had control over them.

"TREMBLE HUMANS! TREMBLE BEFORE THE ALMIGHTY POWER OF THE 'DRACONIC FIVE'! WE HAVE COME TO SET THE WORLD RIGHT, TO A TIME BEFORE YOU PITIFUL HUMANS HAD SOMEHOW TAKEN OVER THIS WORLD! BAHAHAHA!!"

The people of the town weren't simply giving up however, most were already evacuated into the Lamia Scale guildhall for protection, while the mages of the guild itself were doing their best to remove this threat.

Currently, Lyon Vastia, along with Jura Neekis, Sherry Blendy, Yuka Suzuki and Toby Horhorta were battling with many low rank Demons that were trying to get to the protected citizens, using all their might to ensure nothing would happen to the good townsfolk of their hometown.

"ICE MAKE SNOW DRAGON!" Lion announced, creating a giant cyan-coloured ice dragon to attack a Grey Demon.

Yuka and Tony currently we're trying to overpower a Red Demon, finding it slightly challenging, whilst Sherry manipulated the stone ground to create a few rock golems to hold back another Grey Demon.

"We can't fall here everyone! If Lamia Scale falls, then we're all doomed!" Lyon yelled, barely dodging a Grey Demon slash.

"WE ALREADY KNOW THAT JERK-FACE!" Toby retorted, as he was swung in the air by a Red Demon.

"Don't be rude Toby!" Yuka complained, using his wave magic to negate a hellfire blast from another Red Demon.

"Please take this battle seriously..." Jura said, facing three Grey Demons at the same time.

"ROCK AVALANCHE!"

In one simple hand gesture, Jura caused some of the ground to lift up into the air to be sent flying at the Demons, dismembering them with the density and momentum they carried, completely eradicating the threat.

"Good work Jura, as expected of one of the Ten Wizard Saints!" Lyon complimented.

"Thank you Lyon, but now isn't the time for compliments, there's still more coming!"

Jura pointed upwards to the sky, slightly confusing everyone until they turned to see what he was pointing at. The entire sky over them and the guild was infested with Red Demons, Grey Demons, Blue Demons, and even an Albion staring down at them. Lyon gained a look of even greater concern, unsure as if they could defeat this many.

"Maybe we should strategically withdraw for now!" Lyon suggested.

"But that's not putting LOVE into it though..." Sherry complained.

"We can't retreat now! We're all that stands between these monsters and the citizens of Margaret Town, so we shall stand our ground without hesitation!" Jura argues, preparing to summon more rocks.

The Albion began charging an energy attack, with the Red Demons also preparing to spew hellfire over them as well. They then shot their blasts straight at the group, with little opportunity to dodge or any hopes of blocking it, until Jura began began manipulating the earth and caused stone pillars to rise over them to act as a defence.

"IRON ROCK WALL!"

As the hellfire hit, the rock wall was destroyed seconds upon contact, unable to take the pure destructive force due to the abnormal gap in power. The fragments of stone began to crash into everyone under it. Lyon, Jura and everyone had trouble dodging, but just managed to avoid most of it, still gaining scrapes and bruises on their bodies. Lyon and Jura were the only ones left standing, with the others trying their best not to fall to their knees.
