..... Percy's POV.....
"How much farther?"

"Percy, I swear if you ask that again I will through you out of this car!"

I smirk, "How-"

"Percy!" Annabeth hisses, "Knock it off. You can clearly see the GPS so stop asking Pollux,"

"Thank you Annabeth." Pollux doesn't look over to Annabeth, who is sitting in the passenger seat.

Since Annabeth is injured, she got to sit in the passenger seat while Nico, Will, and I were shoved in the back of our small Chevy Cruze. Pollux, being the only one to know how to operate a stick shift, is driving.

The air is tense, everyone either feeling defeated or angry. I myself am angry that I didn't help Celeste sooner.

When we got into the car, I had given her weapons to Will, who has been absentmindedly fiddling with them since. He has said only a few words when necessary. Just like Pollux. Though Will has made eye contact, Pollux has not.

And Nico has not said a word, his face has been void of emotion. Though, I think I saw him talking with Annabeth, but I haven't had the chance to as her about it.

I glance at the GPS and sigh; we have anouther three hours. I lean my head back and close my eyes hoping for some peace, but instead I am sucked into a dream.

I am at the mouth of a cave with soft whispering coming from its depths. I can only assume that it comes from a malevolent source. And knowing my luck, it probably what we are looking for.

I peer into the cave and strain to see what ever I can in the darkness.

"Oh my little hero," the voice chuckles and my blood runs cold.

I feel phantom hands wrap around me and pull me deeper into the cave and no matter how much I struggle, I can manage to say in the light.

I am dragged into a chamber that is somewhat lit, though the light does not reach the corners, or the giant mass resting against the wall.

"I knew you would find me,"

I turn my focus onto the speaker ready to scream and yell. But all words die in my throat when I see the figure standing in front of Gaea.

I stare wide eyed, as I struggle to talk and break free of the phantom hands holding me in place.

The girl emits a soft glow the only thing lighting up the room, her blond hair a contrast against the gloom.

I watch as Gaea lifts the girls chin with a earthen hand. "Are you ready Little sun beam?"

The girl closes her eyes and a single tear rolls down her face, "Probably not,"

The voice startles me and I am surprised to find it hollow and familiar.

Gaea smiles, "This might hurt,"

I gasp as I watch Gaea dissolve into particals and fly into the girls mouth. I watch in horror as the girl starts to twitch and the light around her fade.

I want to scream, yell, help her, and look away but I can't do any of that.

The air fills with the girls screams and the darkness becomes so dence that I can no longer see anything.

And luckily, that's when I wake up.

I jerk up gasping for air. I look around hoping that I will find myself back in camp, this whole quest a dream.

Annabeth turns around, worry written in her face, "Percy, what's wrong?"

"Celeste is about to do something incredibly stupid."

Pollux head snaps up and he looks me in the eyes, "How stupid?"

I sigh, "Way above my level."

Nico mumbles, "Schist. That's bad, and you glued your hand to an apple not two weeks ago."

.... Celeste's POV ....
"Lady Artimis, I can't thank you enough for this and the advice,"

Artimis nods, "Well, it's the least I could do. Are you sure you don't need anything else?"

I smile and bow. "No, you have been more than generous. I have to do the rest in my own."

She nods, "I wish you safe travels. And please find another way to get rid of....my great grandmother."

I give her a rueful smile, "Annabeth told me a story about a boy who gave his life and saved quite a few people. So, I know what I have to do."

Lady Artimis sighs, "Celeste, I wish you the best and I hope we meet again."

"Thank you milady, and I know we will,"

I bow once more and walk out of the Forrest. Not quite ready to go through with my plan but sure that it is the only way.

I walk around the city till I find a car unlocked, and drive off. Heading to were I know I will do something terrible.
//Time skip///
Once I reach the trail head I pull over and securely fasten Eli's dagger on my hip.

"Well according to the map,I have to walk a whopping fifteen miles uphill. At lest it's not hot out."

I start the trek up the trail and I have no clue how long I have walked once I throw myself on the ground.

I don't know why, but since I ran away from the group, I have been talking to myself in order to fill the silence. "This is hopeless. To bad I can't fly, but all I can do is make noises with my mouth."

Well, most people can do that Sunbeam.

I sigh and wipe my face from any emotion that might give myself away. "Hello Gaea," much to my surprise, I find my voice steady and void of the hatred this woman gives me.

So, you have finally decided that my path is the only path?

I take a deep breath, "You were right. I had a dream that they turned on me."

For a moment I fear that Gaea had sensed the lies but her satisfied laughter fills the air. I tried to warn you little hero.

I take a deep breath, "You once told me that you could bring Eliana back, is that really possible?"

Yes my dear.

"Then I will help you. I just have to reach you first." I stand up with a groan, "But I might die before I get there."

Don't worry about that. I sent for a ride.

I furrows my brow in confusion and look around. To my surprise I find a pegasus waiting for me a little ways up ahead.

I crack a smile, "Heza."

The pegasus snorts as if to say 'duh' and trots up to me.

Hurry up now before we loose our window. We only have do much more time to bring your sister back.

I nod, "Alright boy, let's go."

He snorts again and then we're off, racing twords the cave were I'll find Gaea and her pet snake.

I silently send a prayer to the gods, hoping that this will work.
